Hey bro, would like to see some pics of your grow (': , I would say that the more lights the better! and im sure every one would agree, so if your able to add more lights then go ahead, more lights = more yield
Hi bro. That is exactly what I did, there's now a total of 4 CFLs under my homemade reflector, I bore more holes in it than needed, and will make more as I need to add bulbs around my Valentine plant. At this point 3 are 6500k and one is 2700k, I will add another smaller 2700k bulb soon, lower branch level. In the pics below you can see how it's developed nicely, and how i made the reflector. It's very practical, I can move my lights around anyway I want. It's made of the thinnest plywood I was able to find, it's actually laminated cardboard, the type used on the back of furniture to hold it steady. IMO, Valentine is doing swell.

I've also started off 2 clones(from Valentine) this morning, I'll post that issue separately after uploading these pics.

Thanks for reading!

PS - I name them according to their birthdays, to make sure I remember their age :)

Was also wondering if you did try the LST, or Topping?
No I did not, as of yet, because I wanted to first take 2 clones from Valentine, to bring up faster, flower and find out the sex. It took me long enough to be able to start the cloning, because I waited until this morning to find/buy Clonex gel. Once Valentine recovers from having two branches cut (i'd say a week), I intend to first do Topping, and once it gets double shoots, start LST pulling&bending along a period of 45 days, to see how it goes. BTW, can anyone tell Valentine's strain yet by looking at the pics in my previous post?

I cut 2 lower branches off Valentine, trimmed the leaves and scraped/split the stems on bottom, then coated them with Clonex and stuck them in pre-watered soil inside small transparent pots I chose transparent in order to be able to see the roots, when/if they form) . I also cut 2 coke bottles and placed them on top of the pots(with bottlecaps off), to keep in humidity. I then placed both pots in my pc grow case(farther away from the bulbs), where the March10th Twins are also residing and doing well (directly below the bulbs).

I checked on the clones 2 hrs later, and they were badly drooping, laying flat on the ground. I misted them a bit and placed the coke bottles back over them, and one hour later they had raised up from the ground(almost to straight up position, as seen below). I'm adding pics of the grow, with the Twins and the March25th Clones.

My questions: I took off the bottlecaps from the cut coke bottles, so there IS a small opening up there where the humidity can escape thru. Is this a problem? I figured SOME airflow is necessary, as to avoid molds and stuff. I'd like some advice on that issue please, as I don't have a humidity dome and I tried my best to mimick it. Also, is the 6500k veg light from my grow case OK for the clones?

Any other input/advice is welcome and appreciated, thank you.
