I did that my first grow and ended up paying too much out the ass for electricity when it really didn't effect the growth compared to what florecents can give, in the first little bit that is at least. anyways, here's some new pictures from just now. I love the iCloud for posting grows since I can literally take pictures from my phone, walk out of my grow room and onto my computer open up photos and they are there waiting for me. Pretty nice for some of us more lazy mothers...

sorry took me so long to respond.. nope i got seedlings and cuttings under T5 lamp then move them up to my T8 lamp for veg. 1000 for flower. start in miracle gro seed starter then FFOF veg & flower using fox farm nutes.. by the way your babies are looking good. good luck

Forgot to switch the timer to turn off the night before last, so I had to start flowering today instead... Oh well, pretty good grow so far. Thanks to wolf above, feel it on the CLF for veg. I don't know how people do it another way than that for the start.



These pics were just taken two nights ago, when I thought I was starting flowering. I'm pretty excited for this grow, since it's my first hydro really going well, and first dwc. I will be making some changes to my system, adding in an extra res or two underneath this one, to auto pump water and drain at perfect level so the roots are always getting exactly what they need. I wonder how much I'll yield, but who knows really, I'm hoping at least two ounces off each plant, which I think should be reasonable, since these are pretty big, but a little close together so they won't give me exactly what I need. I think for the next one's that I clone off of these will be put in individual buckets each, so it's easier to move around, and maybe if I do the same gravity at perfect level, I won't even need to worry about individually feeding them, just filling up the main veg res, and main flower res... I'll just need a couple pumps, or a good way to have the water break off between a couple buckets off of one pump. In my experience though it's not always as reliable within those small tubes, since they can get clogged so much easier.

Things have been going well. I am almost at two weeks of flowering, small flowers at all tips forming. Need to take some more pictures tonight, these are all from a couple days ago. But i totally spaced on the advanced nutrients, thinking they were all second week start, when they should have been started from week one of flowering. It seems kind of slow, but I can't remember what it should be like at this stage. I should get a bit off of this grow, I'm hoping for a half pound, but would be pretty happy with just a quarter, which is only an ounce per plant... hopefully two ounces per plant is a good estimate for this dwc.
