Yeah Ab, I rechecked a couple of sources and the ratio I use is 1.7ml/L of 35%

All 5 of the first batch of weed baron mega clones has struck and have been repotted into perlite and all but 1 on to the flowering chamber.:weed:
The one left wil be a mommy.

But if I am going to screw up this is where it will happen. I am into for me, uncharted territory.

Up until now I have had previous experience with the different aspects of my grow, but hydro is completely new to me. Maybe that is why I am afraid to flood the table. If the mix is wrong or something else isn't right, there goes 2 months of work, and those main stem clones I waited so patiently for.

I am at 1400ppm GH Flower mix nutes, my pH is 5.8 and I dosed with 1.7ml/L 35% h2o2

I'll just cross my fingers hold my breath for the next few days and flood that table today at 2000hrs GMT.:|
Guess I need to read the directions more carefully. I've been only running H2O2 at 1.7ml per GALLON. :wall:

I'd love to help you out with the flood schedule. Unfortunately, I'm not a rockwool guy, and I believe it holds water better than coco or hydroton. During the big growth veg cycle, I was flooding 15 minutes every 3 hours and my plants loved it. I did start slow, and worked my way up to that schedule though.

The only thing I can add, is to be sure to keep the res temps down. I add a frozen 20oz bottle of water when I check res levels at 0600 and 1700. It really helps keep the algae down. I can't remember if you are running an airstone in the res, but it's somehting you may want to think about....

I have my 1st big clone and it is beautifull, but what do u think?

It has a gangster lean and has not stood up straight yet, its only been 24hrs though, cant wait to see roots. I only took one to see how this method works for me.

Cool I hope so, only time will tell..........

My bad i have a tray a dome ,behind the clone, for my seeds that are starting to pop. Hopefully they will cum up soon.

In my tent i have enough room for the tray and dome on one side and the clones on the other side sitting on a 2x2 heat mat.

Cool man, that should work for you.

I am on day 9 of waiting for roots on my second batch of clones. A couple are starting too show the wear.

I peeked at one that I am going to start as a mother and she has a small shoot starting so I am hopeful that it will just be a short time till I pot my second wave of clones.

Day 2 of flowering and everything is holding steady right now.

No signs of new growth from the clones but everything looks healthy and fat.

Ur useing Perlite in ur flowering flood table. Right?

How many times u flooding in the first week after they have roots from cloneing?

Im thinking of using it too, i have a big ass bag of Big and Chunky. I allso have a bag of Fytocell That i have not yet used. Once i get this clone to take off i will give it a try and see how it works. This stuff is very messy though.

My clone started to stand bak up for me now, it only took about 30hrs to stand back up. Im thinking of vutting a few more clones in the next day or so, its been really busy lately at work.

Yeah perlite in 6" pots.

I'm just flooding 2 times per day.

Once at about 10 min after lights on, then 8hrs later.

Perlite seem to hold quite a bit of moisture.

I think my mix is a little too hot, I am going to back it down to 1200ppm for the next tank.

I still got my fingers crossed. They are not shooting up yet, but I guess this is only their 3rd full night.

What nutes are you using? And what EC are you running now? I don't think I went to 1200 on my plants until they were in full blown veg. Of course, yours are WEED BARON MEGA CLONES (tm) and they could probably handle 2400ppm the day after you cut them...

Grow on my brother....:blsmoke:

I am using GH nutes in a bloom ratio.

Remember I am filling up a sea of green,

:arrow::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::arrow: :weed:

and I have to run the same nute strength for all plants on the table. 1400ppm was the recommendation from Al B. I don't measure the EC as I don't really understand it anyway.

I think that is a little hot, but I will know for sure in a couple more days. I don't know if the slight curling I see is from nutes or a part of the cloning process.

I need four clones ready for Sunday and right now there are only two showing roots. I have confidence that they will come through for me though.

The room looks totally different with the HPS running instead of the MH. Feels a lot warmer.

I plan on potting four clones a week till the table is full, and if the good lord is willing and the creek don't rise, I will begin to take off four every week.

Holy crap, I am only 7 weeks and 3 days from the first of a perpetual harvest.

Isn't that Beautiful.lol

I think Al's scale of ppm is a 700 scale, if im not misstaken, so that wood be 2.0 in EC and 1000 in 500 scale, and 20 in cf scale. 1400 in the 500 scale wood be 2.8 in the EC scale, wow thats high, thats allmost as high as me right now. i love to wake and bake bongsmilie

If u are useing the 500 scale, i think u r, then start from 1000-1200.
The CF, EC, 500,and 700 scale are cunfuseing.

Of course ur the WEED BARON!!!!!!!!!!!

A lil brighter too,huh.

That the same thing i wiil try to do, if i can 100% of my clone to strike i will take 4-8 a week and pick the best 4 and flower them every 2 weeks.

Holy crap, I am only 7 weeks and 3 days from the first of a perpetual harvest.
Lucky u, Im "rooting" for u buddy!!!!!!!!!

:confused:Holy crap dude:spew:. What is the 500 700 ec stuff. I know when I switch my meter to ppm I stick it in the sample subtract my starting ppm from that and that is what I use.

Where can I find out a little more about that? Is there a thread or something?

Here's a nice conversion chart:

PPM/EC/CF chart - THCtalk.com - Cannabis Growing Forum & Cannabis & Marijuana Discussion Forums

If Al's mix calls for 1400ppm and he is using the 0.7 conversion, that would be an EC of 2.0. If you are using a 0.5 conversion meter an EC of 2.0 would be 1000ppm. So, if you are using a 0.5 conversion meter at 1400ppm (EC 2.8), you would be running a 1960ppm mix under Al's conversion. That's why you might be running a little hot.

Of course, I'm a newb, and could be talking out my ass.......

Grow on my brother.....

I am still in the dark in regards to this issue. My meter does the conversion for me. How can I tell what conversion my meter uses?

How I made the mix I am using.

Went to GH website and used their calculator to figure my add for 1400ppm. I then mixed this and checked it with my meter and after subtracting ppm in the water itself I came out with 1400ppm.

If Al was running 1400ppm I assumed that there was no conversion necessary.

I'm going to that site right now and school myself a little.

So if I am reading this chart correctly, if Al is using a Truncheon meter and is measuring 1400ppm and I am using a Hanna and measuring 1000ppm then we would both measure the juice at 2.0EC?

:wall: If this is the case then I am lucky I didn't burn them up.
