I have a 600 watt HPS for bloom and a 600 watt MH conversion bulb for veg. I just put some shop lights on the sides so that the bottom part of the plants don't completely die. These fan leaves are HUGE and block a lot of light. I'm expecting a few ounces at least...

Word thats sweet man, im sure your going to get more then a few ounces man.. My last grow i netted 6oz off 2 plants and a 400w hps so i think you will def get a good yield..

How tall are your plants right now?

Working from this pic the top right one is about 2 1/2 feet tall and the little motivation on the bottom left is about 18 inches with the other two at about 22 inches. The stems are bigger than my thumb in width. I started them 12/12 because the bottoms were starting to turn yellow from lack of light. My last grow I only got 2 1/2 ounces from 3 plants but that was soil with ph issues and their final height was the same as these are now so I really don't know what to expect. How did the superthrive do for you? I think it made mine bush out more.

Man i think you are going to def yield bigger. I know i def didnt do everything right in my last grow either, i flushed them all for a week straight around the 5th week of flowering to try and save my lemon skunk..

Were you using the 600w on your last grow to? Ph will def do that man! Did you notice how out of those 3 purple jems two of them were alot shorter then the other one? Thats because of a soil ph problem as well, the big one has fox farm soil, the others had shit soil from home depot, i just transplanted them into fox farm a week or so ago.

Yeah man the super thrive def helped and i agree it made it bush out for sure.. My screen is filling up really nicely now!.

Those are looking real nice JuiceBox, Good job!

Yeah i used the 600hps last time, but this time I got a MH conversion bulb for veg so my internode spacing is MUCH better. I would be happy with 1oz per plant but more would certainly be nice haha.

Ok today I was checking on the plants and saw that some of the branches on the side were not getting enough light so I rotated all the lids so that the weak parts could get some light. Now that I did that the stronger/longer branches are further away from the light. Do you guys think I should rotate them back or should I keep them where they are now? I'm torn 50/50 on it. Also I bumped my nutes up to an even 700ppm with more bloom this time than grow.

Cool I just checked them and the weak spots are turning more green now and beefing up a little. I'll leave them like they are for a while I think to let them even out.

Id def say rotate them man! Rotating plants worked wonders for my buddy, he was kind of having the same issue as you.

Man those are looking great! Keep it up!

Alright I just trimmed a bunch of the tiny lower branches that weren't getting direct light and now I can tell they are getting more air. Hopefully I didn't stress them at all.IMAG0173.jpgIMAG0174.jpg

What will clear your leaf problems would be Epsom salt 1 tsp per gallon you have a magnesium problem and cal-mag is too weak. Epsom salt is 100% natural Magnesium and will fix that problem and use Blackstrap molasses for your calcium and magnesium along with the Epsom salt. You don't want to go into flower with a sick plant and you should upgrade to a 1000 watt hps because 600 watts won't give you the weight. I've been growing for a while plus I have friends who've been growing for a very long time that give me info all the time.

My leaf problem is actually gone now. I used cal-mag and superthrive and it cleared it right up. I found out it was a potassium deficiency as well. The only thing wrong with them now is some slight nute burn from switching them to bloom. I'm planning on getting another 600w pretty soon and I'm either doing SCROG or CCOB (crop circle of bud). I have been looking into the molasses though, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MOLASSES. I disagree with having to upgrade to a 1000w, people have pulled pounds off of 400w before.

Yeah i think im gonna go add some epsom salt to my buckets right now.. I think im def showing alittle mag deficiency, the superthrive helped alot but im still seeing slight areas with rust spots.. Thanks for posting that link on molasses, i dont know to much about it but im gonna go read it haha.. Looks like a book haha..

Yeah man i think your good with the 600w, I mean a 1000w will give you more weight if you grow more plants but honestly if your only doing 4-5 plants a 600w is really all you need to maximize the lumens.. Especially if you scrogg next grow, i think that will help alot..

Man that low ryder#2 i have going is so sticky man! i mean i accidentely pinched one of the buds last night when i was trying to re-arrange it and my fingers were caked in resin.. Im so stoked for it!
