i was suprized how fast it is growing, these are on 12/12 from seed. i have always been a off and on outdoor grower. i would put my plants out and return when it didn't rain enough. i haven't been able to grow anything in the last 8 to 10 years. right now my box is small, but i am building a 2'wx2'wx4't box that should be done this weekend. i have 10 15 watt cfl's in the 2700k range, i plan to step up to 23 watt as i go, i also have 3 26 watt cfl's that i plan to hang when i need light from the sides. right now i have a small fan that blows on the plants and plan for a bigger one. everything in this box has been stuff that i had around the house. so far the only money spent on the old box is two screen door hook latches for $2.00 and a pull string light socket i think was around $2.75. the bigger box so far is about $10.00 but i'm not done yet. i will try to post pics each week. i believe they are indica.

im not a huge fan of 12/12 from seed, however your plants are growing very rapidly. Their leaf tips are curling and limping, you might be over or under watering? other then that looking good!

in the first two pics i had been over watering and letting them sit in the leach water to boot. now i give them a good splash and let it drain. i had a gnat problem but i think i have that under control.

Just my 2 cents, but I am in a 2x2x3 area now, and it's barely enough for my 1 plant.

i'm trying to keep it small, i would love to have a room, but thats not going to happen. if this works out i might try to build something bigger and let a plant go through the veg then flower.

I think you may have misunderstood.
I am squeezing 1 plant in a 2x2, so I don't think all those you have pics of will fit where you are planning.View attachment 2495283

i only have two plants, one sprouted jan. 10, and the other jan. 13. there was 2 pics taken on jan 20 to ask about the curled and then 4 pics taken on the 23 when i started the thread. i tried to get a overhead and a side shot, light wasn't working with me. are you growing 12/12 from seed? thats a good looking plant. what is the strain?

Thanks.
I vegged for 30 days, and I had it tied down so it was only 1-" tall when I flipped to flower.
It's just some bagseed I had.
I decided to do this inside over the off season, because I did 2 last year, 12/12 from seed, and with the crappy weather that comes in early-mid October here, I didn't finish till first week of Nov. or somewhere there, but they didn't show first pistils until july 7th or something.
I'm hoping to have this finished in time to use the space to veg 2-4 for at least a month then put out late April.

Bakatare666, this is only a suggestion.. if you could turn those spirals sideways and had small reflectors you could double your yield.. I know they dont really make reflectors in the size you need but... Im a roofer and we buy aluminum rolls that we bend up for fascia but anyway... if you had a roll of that stuff you could easily make the perfect size reflectors out of it.. it comes in gloss or dull white.. I wish I had some lying around I would make one and show you..next time I buy a roll, im gonna send you a picture..

Thanks man, appreciate it.
I've been thinking about putting soda cans on the bottom sides of the side bulbs, but just lazy I guess, I've got 2 cut like I did with the Tecate can, and I just use zip ties to clamp them on, but at least I did move the lights up tonight.
I kinda was waiting to see how much lower foliage I was going to have to keep cutting off to clear the bulbs as she finished the stretch.
I'll have pics of the new side bulb placement next Monday when I take weekly pics.

i'm really thinking about outdoors again. i believe i could find a couple of good spots. this is a off season thing too and a starting over, but if it works out then i may have to try some good sativa seeds and see what i can do. i'm in the south and we get a good season.

How deep south, Fla. 'Bama, Ga.?
I get the dam rain where I am too, up through April pretty much, between that and humidity I miss the west coast.

I hate the humidity, even when it doesn't rain.
I'm a Cali boy, born and raised.
This stuff out here took me a couple years to get used to.

more pics for jan. 26 #1 is taller and smaller.

#2 is shorter and bigger and 3 days younger.

both together in the box, i took two pics almost the same. i got some new soil last night so when i finish the bigger box i'll transplant to a bigger cup. i'm thinking that the other soil is miracle grow, the wife got it for me from her mom and dad. she said it was in a brown bag, but as i ask them what it was my father inlaw said the bag busted so he put it in the brown bag. i believe that is why my leafs have curl to them. heres the side pics of them.

You need to get them into larger pots. Move them into 3.5g or 5g pots or you will start to have problems soon. I also would not recommend using MG or any unknow soil. Get FFOF or Happy Frog if you cant get those a good organic potting soil will work just fine.

Transplant 'em quick man.
Turn your lights so the sides are facing the plants-more light comes from the sides than the ends.
Then you can move them up just a touch.
How's the temp feel between the leaf and light? Do you have your fan blowing right in that area to move the warm air away?
Here's a couple pics of the one I have going right now, 21 days from sprout, and I fed at 25 days, then next pic is after transplant, at 28 days, then 31 days.
I used Miracle Grow moisture control from the very beginning with 40% MG perlite mixed in, and I am using only CFL too.View attachment 2498441View attachment 249844210" tall, 12" wide.6dec10_zpsa6eea805.jpg
