Haha, cool
No, I'm from Slovenija, former Yugoslavia... we just had a legalisation petition ended this week, more than enough signatures were gathered, so it goes to national parliament for debate next week. Yay, moving forward
Oh, 1 question... I fed them twice by now, guano + universal organic food garden nutes(both 1/8 recommended dose), no flushing inbetween... should I flush, or should I continue with feeding and what dose?
you only need to flush when using synthetics as they are salt based and the salt deposits build up in the soil. can continue feeding at the dose you are currently feeding them if they dont appear to be getting a light green color and the buds are developing well.
flushing organic soils is counterproductive and should onlky be done if absolutly necesary...when you add the guano (shit) your also ading bacteria to the soil, this bacteria breeds and multiplies in the soil and breaks down the organic matter into useable nutrients for your plants. have you thought about doing a compost tea?
Nice to know, thanks
So I feed them with every watering (approx 1x/week)? Color is healthy green generally, some burned spots here and there, nothing serious. My mother is doing compost tea, but is currently out of it all. She already promised me some
its really easy to do...just get a bucket and airstone, a womans stalking.
fill bucket with water, put airstone in. put about 1/2 cup of bat shit in the stalking and use that as your "tea bag" some worm castings in the tea bag too if you have em around.
Some photo blitzkrieg What's up with photo uploader, it keeps turning some photos sideways?
Day 41 from popping out of soil
They are a little late, especially the Lights, but the short NL1 is bushy as hell... I've read about big pots, autos needing more time and thus growing big...
Today I bought General Organics Biothrive Bloom, thinking of adding some. Maybe lowering/cutting other two nutes? Should I be pulling lower leaves that are drying(no rot)? Sugars are already coated with some first snow, but I doubt you'll see that in photos. There's a photo of SG2 with three 4gallon water containers... I don't know, everything seems ok, right?
I only had the blue cfl on, except for this Sugars tricolor
looks good you will be amazed how in just 2-3 more weeks they will start looking like that crazy kind bud like you see all over the forums..in about 3 weeks they willl develop more trich's and start looking alot more like the final product
Thanx
The Lights(on the right) have outgrown the Sugars, even the short one is tallest than both Sugars, both are buuushy and full of tiny bud formations... when I watered them the last time, some soil was washed away and I saw the top of the roots, they are huge(for my limited knowlege at least)
Was thinking of putting some kind of wire cage around the CFLs, if some bud decides to check them out
I'm a little concerned about the Sugar in the back though... some leaves on top of the main cola got burned and lights weren't that close, not that bad yet , but still... will post some photos when I come home from work. I also cleaned some drying leaves from the main stems.
They are at 2 feet approx by now, the NL in the back a little taller. I know it's a little soon, but what yield is to be expected?
Edit:
Here's a cropped photo from yesterday, what do you think of that burn?
Guys, help! She's not feeling well and getting worse
She has less crystals than her sister Sugar, buds smaller, big leaves are bent down, some drying, some discoloration... leave in the last pic fell of only by touching it.
Could it be heat? My temps got up to 27-28°C (approx 81°F) at main cola height when I added the second UFO. Or is it some deficiency...? I don't wanna lose her. Other girls are doing ok though...
Should I remove one CFL(blue) to bring heat down? Too bad, everything was going well so far.
