First indoor grow BIG BUD

Well, I have done a few out door grows in the past. But I recently moved into a place where out door growing would be sketchy at best. I decided to convert my attached out door laundry room into a grow room. The room is 3X5, and had an existing outlet for the dryer, so it made the perfect choice. I already had a 400w light and shade, but no ballast...so I picked up a Lumatek switchable ballast from a local grow shop. Things have gone pretty well for my first half of the grow, I am now in the flowering stage. I started off with 6 Big bud clones from a friend, but I had to pull one because of slow growth and space issues. I now have 5 plants in the room, and have been able to keep the humidity down to 50% and below with the use of a 110cfm bathroom fan, and my temps are usually between 65-80. I have seen temps over 82 on really hot days, but that was for a short period of time during the veg stage. I decided to use dirt, and go with no nutes on my first try indoors...I figure maybe next time when I feel more comfortable, I will try something. Feel free to offer any tips that you have...like I said this is my first shot indoors, so I am really a newbie at this. The next time around I think I will try to do a scrog grow with only 4 plants, as my space is tight. I just got today, two grand daddy purps, and two black dominions from the same friend I got these from. He suggested that I start indoors with the big bud as they are very forgiving...

Well..week 7, and I did the DIY carbon air scrubber...things are smelling like normal again. I also started dropping in dry ice mid week, the plants seem to love it, and the humidity and temps are good! Here are pics from mid week 6. We'll call them week 6.5...lots of nug development!

When you did the DIY carbon scrubber, what type of fan did you attach it to/where did you get it? Not trying to hijack the thread, I'm just looking for advice as I would like to have a DIY scrubber in my room as well.

Week 7 had me squirming a little bit. There was unusually high temperatures here, and the room spiked up to 84 degrees...out side it was 103, which is unheard of where I live!
Everything seems to be moving along well, the girlies are starting to fill out a bit more...here's the pictures...these are from today. 18 days into flowering.
