I just cloned a bunch....well 20 or so .....from the MzarXGWS. I always use 1.5" rockwool squares that have been soaking. They fit in the trays purfectly. I rarely use a humidity cover, but that probably depends on your RH where you are.....and they seem to sprout in about a week on a heat mat.
i have mine in a cup full of soil. im betting thats the issue. it has been about a week and the stems are still stick straight up but the leaves died, think if i put them in rock wool they will still survive?

Hard to say man. That is just my current method. Remember that they clone naturally into soil, so I wouldn't think that would be it. Are you keeping it wet or moist? <I know people who hate that word..lol...anyway, don't drown them. You might try a humidity dome if its dry there and the leaves have fallen out.

yes they are moist one even grew a little bit of mold on top of the soil. do they need strong light close to them? right now they are sitting on the floor of my grow tent kinda underneath my plant

Preferably one that is made for cloning. If you just have a regular heat pad, like for sore muscles and stuff, put it on low..They tend to get hot. They are fairly cheap and available anywhere.

Good to know thanks for the info. If I can't find one here I will take a trip down to the grow store and pick one up there

If your using a home heat pad, like he said put it on low, but go get a brings timer (cheap brand around me at walmart) and there for lights to prevent "thefts" to turn on why your away like every 15-30 mins you can set to (well the low, I think you can go up to 6 hours) but the actual timer does run 24 hrs....it well help for the pad not to heat up so much, because they over heat but takes a minute to warm up especially on low so that 15 mins that it's on, it's only giving a jolt of heat kinda lol?
