First indoor grow

Tried to get some hd pics of what im smokin on good ole OG

And my led lights are finally out for delivery they should have been here saturday but oh well free shipping. Ill post some pics when they get here moved the closet around so the 2 big girls are few inch from cfl them imma have one led flowering the 3 small blue dream and one led vegging my OG Kush clone project

What leds did you get? I have an old Black Star 135w that i use in my veg tent but i would never use them for flowering. Looks like you have done your homework and learned a lot about growing cannabis. The learning never ends, Im just shaking off the dust after a break and its like starting all over again.

Mars hydro 100 3w leds at 140 true watts

I know theyre not top of the line but its a hell of a lot more effiecent than hps as far as electric cost ill probably get a 400 or 600w hps one of these days though the growth look crazy with hps

Yeah hate to say it but thise lights suck, if its a true 140w watts thats pretty poor and the led chips they use suck. Veg is great but flowering will be a let down. What space and how many lights did you order? How man6 plants do you plant to scrog with and what size will the canopy be?

I sectioned off a 3x3x5 area in my closet but have another 1/2 of my closet i could use. I ordered 2 lights and ill only be doing 1 or 2 under a scrog but now that i learned how to super crop i may not even scrog

Run 2 to get a half way decent harvest but that is still a mere 280w, less than half what is recommended for 3x3 area.

Plants look healthy, you will get a larger root zone if you bury that stem to the first leafset when upcanning.

a cheap digital temp and RH meter to keep in your grow room would be a great addition. i get amazing value for the price from mine. do you have anything circulating the air? a medium sized fan could help out quite a bit as well. you could pick up both for under $30 probably, less than a bottle of fertilizer

Yea i still have the big 250W cfl in the back i know its not a hps but all three should get me a decent harvest i think and while im saving money with these lights ill be puting it towards a 600w hps

Yea i need a bigger fan but i have a small one and my 2 led units blow air around pretty good but the temp stays 70-80 almost all time having pretty cold weather in cali right now though so thats helping

Got my Leds for cheapo brand they seem pretty well built and are bright as hell. When setting up the lights the 2x4 fell and cut the top 4 inches clean off one of my small blue dream oh well im hoping she'll recover its a weed after all but im 2 weeks in flower now so idk. that sucks luckily the small ones were only 10-14in when put in flower
The kush plant is growing like a wild bush has atleast 5 main kolas i think well have to see another reason i prefer indica the big blue dream i topped has 3 main tops And here is my baby. I think its 1 week old now OG kush lookin real good i cant wait to supercrop her and to the left are two young blue dream I think the far left got nute burn from ffof but the other two are doing great had no more black gold for seedlings and kinda broke rn all i have is ff Well ill post a pic with all 3 lights on tonight i havnt even seen how bright it is. Anyways peace

the fan also can serve to make the environment a lot more inhospitable to flying pests and insects as well as strengthening the branches, allowing them to support more buds. in addition to that it helps bring in fresh co2 saturated air for the plants to use and pushes depleted air out. you can also use them to decrease the temperature of your bulbs/fixtures by blowing on them allowing you to grow closer without burning the plant.

I just really love fans, theres no limit to the number of ways you can incorporate fans to improve your grows and daily life!

I put the big kush plant a good 6 inches closer but i think ill need anither fan if i put them much closer cause they give off a fair amount of heat
