first leaves are turning yellow

the first leaves on my plant are turning yellow, the guy at the hydro store said it was a lack of calcium from using RO water so i picked up some cal-mag. i just switched over from my ready grow cubes to rockwool cubes last night and added quarter strength nutes of the 3 pack of GH and my question is, should i add the cal-mag at 25% or 50% to start off with

How many leaves does the plant have as i think you are talking about cotledons (seed leaves) as they are supposed to turn yellow when they have done their job.

I'm a super rookie at this but on my plants (4) the first leaves all turned yellow but the plant kept going strong...I beleive they are the seed leaves like the dude above said...I didn't worry about them.

If they are rounded in shape with no blades on the leaves then they will be seed leaves (cotyledons).
