So I've been holding onto some bag seeds for a while now. I successfully germinated 3 out of the 5 and here are my babies. They were seeds 2.5 weeks ago so I think they're doing pretty well. I have nothing to compare to, so any input is much appreciated :)

I have a feeling they are about to explode =)
Do you think they are stretching too far? They are about 4 inches at current.

Thoughts?

Thanks :)

They are stretching on you. I might recommend a very little amount of food the next time you water(very lite). This will help thicken the stock. Next time you transplant you can plant the stem further in the dirt.

So currently I have 4 cfl lights at 23 or 24 watts each. 5000k. I have 2 more lights coming that are 6500k and 40 watts each. So tonight ill have it set up and running 4 23 watt fluorescent cfls and 2 40 watt fluoro cfls. Total 160-170 watts.

I couldn't imagine what real lights would do. It already seems to be growing like a weed :p

Also mr2shim, the light in ur signature seems very good. This is the light set up for veg and flowering stage, correct? I see the 2 bulbs. The price is very reasonable. I might get that sooner rather than later. Thanks for indirectly showing me :)

Yes! My first compliment on my ladies. I just bought the light from Mr2shim' s sig. I will be getting it friday. Are there any drawbacks to switching from cfl fluroescents to mh so quickly?

Here is an update:

Moved under 400w Apollo MH light and transferred to large pot. I replanted closer to the cotyledons. 5 days have passed and all the babies have a new layer of leaves!

I began to notice the cotyledons yellowing which I read is normal. However, now i am noticing the bottom leaves turning very faintly yellow. I am using a miracle grow soil. I am pretty sure there is nutrients in the soil and earlier a user commented on my stretching and suggest i add a little bit of "food" so i added a very small amount of fert. I think i am experiencing nute burn or a nitrogen deficiency.

Thoughts?

Pictures coming momentarily...
(crap, phone just died. will upload in morning)

Getting light to new areas by taping the tip of a leaf to a side of the pot. (get it?) haha

I have a stubborn plant though. I'm treating him the same, but he is not growing and is light yellow. :/

I immediately watered and within hours they looked much better. Here's a couple progress pictures over several hours.

Should I switch to 12/12 and the hps light both at once?

So I don't see signs of sex yet, but the two best plants are starting alternating nodular growth. :) I'm slowly going from 20/4 down to 12/12... about an hour per day. When I hit 15 hours or so I will switch to hps. I am also super cropping the top branches. Will update in another week or so with pictures.
