First mushroom grow harvest time!

Do you see green in the tray? Looks like some in the middle to me, might just be bruising or something.
 
I'm an idiot when it comes to growing shrooms, but these kits interest me...what effect does "bruising" have on the flush? But yeah, these kits seem like a good deal, take the hard part out of growing shrooms, and if you get up to 4 flushes per tray, definately worth the money for someone like me who just wants to grow enough to stash for a while...Wouldn't be eating them that often, so 1 or 2 trays should do me for a couple years.....
 
Tomorrow I'm gonna try this badasses what do you think is the best way to consume them? Just chew them and eat them? Or is there a better way? Tnx for the help
 
Yup, chew 'em up and swallow 'em...nice to follow it up with something like Starburst candy, or Taffy, cause shrooms tend to get stuck in your teeth, and you'll be picking pieces out 4 hours later, mid-trip...lol...You could blend it up into a drink if you like, just as long as you don't heat 'em.

You have the relatively rare treat of being able to eat them fresh. Some people think it is easier on the stomach and taste buds. Some people, myself included, sense a different kind of trip - more spacious, gracious, airy, sparkely and "up" than eating them dried.

By the way, that second flush just isn't what I would have expected given your first
 
they aren't ready unless the caps are upturned. When they open, doesn't mean they are done. I guess they'll be fine for someone who wants a weak trip
 
Next time I will try them fresh.
And canndo the first flush also started like that so I have no worris alot more shrooms have pop up today I will upload a pic later on today

I have found the opposite is the case. Aborts and early mushrooms seem just a tad stronger than old ones. Beyond that, you really don't want those spores floating everywhere - they inhibit future flushes, they cake the casing, they make everything dirty and some people are sensitive to spores in the air. Mushrooms aren't like regular plants, they are composed of compact mycelium and so they don't grow stronger or ripen as other fruit does.
 
I must say I learn from you alot guys!

Its been 5 days since first flush harvest. And they grow very fast! Look at day 4 and today day 5 alot of growth!
