First outdoor grow in South Africa

Hey guys so i posted an introduction which included some of this info but thought i would create a seperate thread to post pics etc!

I have done all the research i can and have been growing these babies since last year September which is when we start spring here. So i have adhered to the proper time to plant seed etc.

A quick outline as to what my strategy has been so far, is we have one of the plants in about a 5 to 10 litre pot, which is about 1.5 gallons in US terms lol, and then the other pot is about 40 litres which is around 10 gallons.

As far as fertilizing goes i focused on high Nitrogen and Phosphorus for the veg phase, everything is organic, have added pellets and also liquid form, fish meal etc.

Soil mix was a mixture of bark chips and well draining soil with compost obtained from a trustworthy source and i mixed it myself. It drains fantastically

As soon as the plants started to flower and show their white pistils i began fertilizing with Bio Bloom fertilizer which has all the necessary micro and macro nutrients as well as amino acids and molasses. Also added epsom salts to the mix for a few waterings then stopped when the plants started to look really awesome.

We fertilize the plants twice a week with the bio bloom mix and a tablespoon of molasses and they are getting fatter by the day!

Feel free to let me know your criticisms or advice will all be much appreciated. The small plant is a week or two ahead in terms of flowering compared to the big papa

Also what do you guys reckon I can expect as a yield from these two plants? We have estimated roughly 150 grams between the two of them, on the lower side of estimation lol but I have never been able to grow before so have no idea what the yield will look like

Another comment off the top of my head is that as you can see I wired some of the branches with my bonsai wire to get more air and light onto the buds and we rotate the pot every couple of days.

Only after doing all this I found out about topping etc, which we did actually I just pinched the growth tip which resulted in the many branches on the big one. So hopefully I can get some dank colas

How tall and wide is the one in the 10g pot? Outdoors I pull anywhere between 12-16oz in a 10g smart pot, plants get to be 4-5ft tall and ~2ft wide.

Looks great so far man, keep it up. I don't know if you deal with caterpillars where you live, but if you do be sure to grab some Spinosad asap. Those fuckers always go for the biggest colas.

Yeah man at the moment we havent had any insect problems amazingly but i have been monitoring them closely. Its been two weeks or so since i took those pics and the buds have pretty much doubled in size. Im estimating the small one has about 2 weeks before harvest

So I took pics of the small one for illustrative purposes. As the big one is a good two or so weeks behind this small one. Notice compared to the pics I uploaded about 2 weeks ago the buds have doubled in size. I think this one has about two weeks left until I cut her?
