Im starting an outdoor grow this year. I havent grown anything in years but i have experience indoors and i have done some research on outdoor grows.

Found my location today, small spot easily looked over and wont have more than 6 plants to start. if im lucky i will end up with 3 healthy fems. going to start getting the holes ready in the next few days then pop a few seeds. ive been searching for a spot for days.

any advice for someone moving outdoors is welcome. will be using foxfarm soil and creek water.

the biggest issues i can think of is deer and any stealth tips will help

Hope your grow goes well trust me doing a guerrila outdoor grow is going to be the best choice you made.

Finally to answer your questions try covering yor plants with chicken wire it syops all but the cleverest beasts to get in.low stress training (l.s.t) is great for stealth.
If yoy haven't got your seeds then I would reccomend you get some autos if you have short grow seasons.
Of course wor ifo can be found on all these topics right here on roll it up .

before you go digging 6 holes and think you're gonna end up using them all is dumb, i'd dig like 3 at max and sex them outside in small pots so u don't go wasting a bunch of time

you can dig 6holes even if you only end up with 3 females. just clone them and plant in the holes. just make sure you have the correct organic nutes in the soil just incase you cant or wont be able to buy shit all the time cause big monsters need alot of food!

them small critters get u too, still cant say exactly what it was, but was small enough to squeez through my fencing hole which were about 2x4in. rectangualar holes. the critter started chomping lower leaves and when he couldnt reach anymore started gnawing branches off to get those nice green leaves on top to his level. There was one time I came to find a plant completely gnawed through at the base of the stalk. also the year before that, when my plants were budding, i came up to find my buds laying on the ground, branches broken and split. after further inspectin you could see, small claw marks, small hair, and scrathes on the stems, climbing up, and some of the sugar leaves munched down, all the way to the bud, but not touching the bud at all. thought before that it was rabbits, as a few times I noticed the same thing on the lower more accessible branches, but then knew it had to be something able to climb up to my main tops, and I dnt see a rabbit doing that. I suspected a squirrel, but only found one thing on a different forum, stating that squirrels will do this. Havnt heard much from other people about squirrels being a concern. Anyway my point is, deer arent your only concern, I thought all I had to worry about was deer and rabbits, and then last year thought for sure I wouldnt encounter anything as i had 4 ft fencing, and still..so you dnt really know what issues youll encounter, until you encounter them

start them in pots first. you can buy pots that you just plant if you would like. but cloning and getting more plants is a good idea. i would clone one of each. just because you cant tell a male from female when they are young. spray stuff for deer, set up chicken wire, that kind of thing. cover them while they are young. just so nothing eats your whole tree. for stealth, planting near pine trees and or good tree coverage above. near bushes and vines, particularly blackberry bushes, are really good coverage. lst will help a lot as well. good luck.
