That sucks but atleast you caught it
I have been questioning this one for weeks. I couldn't tell if it was swollen calyx or if they were pollen sax. Then this morning I came out and they were clear. It really sucks because that was my biggest plant by far. Oh well, more light and nutrients for the others

First time grower here too, I'm in the capital district, I'm hoping I'm north enough to not get hit too hard by henri. Gave her a heavy trim this morning. Fingers crossed20210822_074340.jpg20210822_074352.jpg20210822_092039.jpg20210822_092033.jpg20210822_092523.jpg

Just to recap. I pulled 6.9 oz dried off from one plant. With afternoon sun. Not bad for my first grow.

I’m a first time grower on LI and I’m still going with my outdoor plant. She’s definitely looking pretty rough. I want to see what difference harvest date makes so I’ve harvested some on Oct 20, 25, 27, 30, Nov 4 and 11. My plan is to harvest some more on the 18th and then cut around the plant with a root assassin to give her one last gasp. It’s all in the interest of science!

Here’s the plant as of today:

Here’s a photo of a bud on the plant as of today (a lot of purple):

Here’s a photo of a bud I harvested yesterday and did wet trim on:

I did have bud rot in late Sept into Oct, but then it stopped. No issues after that point. Plant was never protected from elements. Watered and fertilized exactly the same as my tomatoes.

Well I harvested early October. We had 2 days of heavy heavy rain, and the bud rot just took off. So to atleast save some of it, I chopped it down about a week early. I threw away every top cola bud I had, and list probably half the plant. Got about 5 ounces of still curing flower and 7 gallon ziploc bags in the freezer. I made some bubble hash a couple weeks ago, still figuring that out. It was definitely a learning experience, and I enjoyed it a lot, so much so, I started an indoor grown tent. https://rollitup.org/t/first-indoor-grow-5x5-shorty-hlg-scorpion.1064857/

My first grow in 22 yrs. In the HV/OC, massive pest issues, rain and heat. My girl is doing great! I have her in a 25 gallon fabric pot with my home grown chicken manure compost, peat moss and perlite. Been feeding her Mother earth's flower power, kelp and molasses not all at once. Week 2 of flowering and she still stretching. I been tying her down weekly and she been responding well to it. Just worry she wont finish on time.
