First Pipe I ever Made

So here is the first pipe I ever made, don't laugh at the glue seams I don't have the correct drill bits yet lol. Its maple with a satin oak stain and finish. The draw is very smooth, cant wait to test it out on the outdoor herb I'm growing. Anyways post your pipes, advice, tips, tricks etc. I'd like to get some experienced people to show me their ways and techniques.

so your going to smoke out of a stain and glue? i would think you would want it completely unfinished on the inside so your not smoking chemicals.. what kind of glue did you use?

The inside does not anything in it except probably some dried up wood glue from the seams. I didn't dab any stain on the inside.

fuck yah that's what I was actually going for. Next one I try out will probably be more slender and darker. Putting this up to your mouth makes you just want to act like a wise guy.

hahaha i wouldnt mind taking a few tokes out of it and feel like a wise guy but i prefer blunts/joints not too much of a bowl guy

oh yah no this is definitely more of me just wanting to try out a new hobby. The next ones I make will be better than that one. Just gotta get the hang of it but I think the next one I make im gunna try and have no seams.

Looks cool. Beats mine hands down. The first bowl I made started as a small chucnk of 2x4. Used a thimble for the bowl part...and wrapped hemp around the mid section...If that makes any sense. Not sleek, but it was effective for the first year or 2 of my smoking. Since then, only thing I have made involves an apple

Thanks man. Yah I'm used to making water bottle subs but wanted something more permanent this time. I made a few mini trial pipes before going big like this but this one is the coolest one so far. Ive actually never tried the apple in my whole life lol. Just never came across as something to do but I wonder if the smoke tastes a little appley lol.

super easy to make em. Not much of an apple taste though unless you literally get the juices in your mouth (Sounds perverted doesn't it). I use them when I go on vacation. Some college buds of mine and I go to Colorado to ski every February...Its apples and papers every time out there. Takes me back

the first time i got caught smoking weed as a child was because my mother had found an apple. an hour earlier a buddy and i had made an apple bowl and smoked out of it. i was planning to toss it off the balcony, but i caught a whiff' of the apple and it smelled so good i decided to just wrap it up in a towel and hide it in the corner of my room lmao.

so my mom called me upstairs to show me this apple she had found and she starts going on about how a worm chewed a perfect hole through the center of an apple. she was just fascinated by this and wanted to show me not get me in trouble for her finding a bowl lOl. i ended up confessing to her what it really was and she told me she figured that out a little while after anyways lol.

idk why i typed all that i'm just stoned and ramblin' lol

hell ya colorado skiing is the sickest thing ever! but i board! one time the first time i toked up and boarded, my friend and i hit up the trees until we found this perfect little log chilled for about 10 min and had my personal favorite smoke session ever! the weather was perfect and the view was amazing!

idk i had just started smoking pretty much and the apple just smelled too damn good! haha. glad i confessed though she knew it wasn't a worm after a little while.
