What's up all. been trolling for a few weeks now and figured it's about time I introduced myself and my project.
I'm using some bag seeds for now, but i've got a few Ata Tundras i'm trying to germinate which i'm excited about. I germinated about 7 or 8 bag seeds and got a few males and runts and now I have two healthy plants left.
I had some trouble with clones as I was pretty impatient and my first few attempts were way too early. I've got one healthy clone going in a phototron that a friend donated and that's coming along nicely which is a relief =)
Other than that... all fox farms soil, using general hydro nutes but as this is my first grow i've been being way cautious with it. The strongest I've used is a little less than half strength. No signs of burning, but i think my leaves might be a little too green. I'll probably do straight water (filtered and pH'd) the next two times just to make sure I don't have too much lingering around.
Oh, the light. 150 HPS i scored off of ebay for like $80 and I've got a Zalman gpu cooler sitting in the top... I've got one of those IR temp readers and this heat sink dropped the light case temps like 20*. So glad I get to use this fan again, i've had it forever! ha ha ha ha
You can see i'm working in a small space and I know I started my LST a little too late so now it's all crowded in there. I'm rotating the plants and spinning them a 1/4 turn every day so it seems to be keeping things pretty even.
