Sup guys first post here I just took some delta 8 as I don’t smoke for job/spouse reasons. So excuse me if my post are little dumb (I’m baked)
Any who I’m 5 weeks on a indoor soil grow.
(autoflowers- 2 Barney’s farm tangerine dream/blueberry cheese and 1 homboltd seed co. Mint jelly) using ffof.
I used no nutrients and only used bottled water with a ph of 5.5 for the first 3 weeks and really underwatered but the plant were still growing.
Top dressed @ week 3 using Gaia green bloom and ummm the other gaia green one. During this time I got what seemed to be a cal-mag deficiency in the Barney’s farm blue berry cheese and had a few slowly yellowing leaves but I started giving them all cal-mag around the end of week #2 , using Cal-mag 3-2mls per gallon and 5-3mls of fish sh!t, also top dressed week 4 with 2 handfuls of earth worm castings.
week #4 till now I’m using R.O water ph
to 6.4-6.2 .( It’s hard to find a sweet pot to get the number perfect)
Using cal mag , fish sh!t, and 3 ml of blackstrap molasses unsulfered .
I feel the black strap really makes the growth jump .. I’ve defoliated little inner small leafs at the bottom, but the plants are short cause I feel I had the light to close for the first 4 weeks and have been told they are stunted .
I think they look good but are short.
But I’m now in week#2 of flower and I broke a Top (not the main top) of lst training . I’ve been lst training since the beginning of week 3 on all plants
also I Fimmed my tangerine dream and homboldt farm mint jelly in the the flowering stage when pistils had just popped out .
All the plants pretty much hit flower at the same time but the mint jelly has always been the runt.
The blueberry cheese has never been fimmed and has only been lightly defoliated and lst trained Well I broke a top off and was wondering if it could shock the plant in a way that would potentially stunt the yield as it’s already flower and this plant has always had yellow tips . Also please be brutally honest about the plants. I want to learn everything I can so I can become a effective grower.
As form my equipment:
Marshydro 2’x4’x6’ tent
Marshydro tsl 200 - 300 watt light 2’x4’ running at 50%- with the drivers mounted outside the tent to keep heat down.
AC Infinity 6” in-line fan currently set to 4 and reading 70% humidity with in the 80s
1 honeywell 6” stationary fan turned to lowest setting pointing at the top of the light
1 hurricane 4” stationary fan pointed at the plants
