I have been vegging for about 11 weeks now and the plants are getting very big, should I wait till the end of the week for that extra yield or flower them today? I have a HPS light im putting in for flowering. I also have about 2 feet of clearance left to raise the light up if the plants need it and the highest one is about 1 foot from the light. will the wait till the end of the week increase my yield dramatically? Thanks!

I told ya to start 12-12 like a week and a half ago, HPS lights only penetrate 1.5ft with strong lumens, anything below the canopy is going to do very poorly. Plus plants at least double if not triple in height during flowering. Almost all good bud production is made during 12-12 on stem not yet even produced.You are going to have your hands full of problems in a couple weeks unless ya start tying down or something. Good luck. hey man good grow so far I am also growing big bud feel free 2 pop into my journal so we can compare notes. your plants are looking very healthy. I hope you dont run out of room because if you only have 2 feet left you might find your self with a plant that wont stop growing and getting to tall. Look into some bush master or phosphoload by dutch master gl man keep up the great plants

Dude...several ppl hav said flower now or last week cos of the height issue.if u only have 2 feet spare at the mo, ur going to HAVE to flower now. u just are not going to have the spare space and ull need to tie them down. did i read u said thy're 4 feet now??? so how much roomdo u think ur going to need??? u don't have that room bro. flower now and tie em down. chaotic's right too. i use hps and u really really need to watch the.they kickout a shit load of it. just don't want ur buds burnt!!!

You made that comment about 3 days ago not a week and a half and I am using a 1000 watt HPS not a 400 and I have more then 12-14 inches of clearance.

LOL a 1000 watt HPS needs at least 22-24 inches above plants just for heat issues, nevermind if they grow, go read somthing, cause I was just trying to help. At the point you are at every day of growth is just going to fuck ya more.

No disrespect at all, we all have to learn it, I did the same way you are, just thought I would give ya a heads up and try and help someone not make a mistake I did. Hopefully they are Indica dominant and there wont be many probs.ill be fine, dont worry too much

lookin nice spyrdle not bad at all, its all good man this is full of experience to be learned as i am also on my first grow as well... i am on day 25 of flowerin and my buds are lookin pretty tasty, i was just strollin through the forums and thought i would check yours out man, good luck and happy growin just be sure to give your babies plenty of love and they will show it right back at ya, stop by and check out my grow if ya got some time man... take it easy and keep up the good work bro peace out
