First Posted Grow: Eva Female Veneno, Nirvana White Rhino, and DNA Rocklock

Grown one from bag seed think it was another white widow mos def a indca. I used supernatural Nutrients and disstilled water. Man i didnt montitor anything room temp ppm ph nothing at all in the least bit had no freaking problem with their stuff. I grew it under a 400watt HPS in a 3 gallon bubbler bucket nothing special fish air pump rope type flexable air stone/strip i just added a scope or two when it looked like it needed to be fed. No burn no discoloring but it only made it 2 to three months as it turned out to be a freaking male. oh i did have a root rot problem and used hydrogen proxide to fix it right up just mix it with some water and poured it from the top through clay balls down through roots also when i fed it i took it into the bathroom and switched buckets with fresh water and nutrients so it started fresh everytime. I topped it and thinned hella it was about 3ft tall off the bucket 4 to 6 feet round and had more tops then i could count well keep track of.

Wow lol. That's sounds amazing man, well besides the male part but damn if it wouldve been a female u wouldve had a ton of pot. I just don't exactly kno where my water level needs to be. I had it right up under the pot and it wasn't doing anything but I lowered it to where the roots were barely in the water and the roots grew quickly and it looked like it had started taking up water but this was just last night. Ill tell for sure today hopefully. But do u run urs at the bottom of the net pot or ?

Well you start at the bottom of the net pot when they are itty bitty then slowly lower water level i kept the first part of the roots the straight part before your root ball out of the water when the roots were nice and big but i lowered everyday until they were or good length im pretty sure they grow to find water so if they are already in water they dont grow much. Hope this helps and like i said ive only grew one in DWC and it was my first grow so im sure i did alot wrong but like i said if you stick to the basics you should be fine just spend hours and hours looking at DWC grows and how their plants and setup look its nice to get advice but we only learn from doing. Thats why i have tester plants well really this whole first grow im doing is just to get a handle on my skills in soil and a tiny little box. Hah it was at a buddys house my DWC grow and i was lucky to get over there 1 time a week so there would only be a few inches of water in the bucket and when it got real low it would suck the stuffing out of a fresh bucket and grow a couple inches hahahahaha just got to play around with stuff and sit on your hands for awhile after so you can see what change it made.

Also im on pills right now had teeth worked on today so im a little loopy hope i make sense. Im going to take a couple minutes to look back over your setup where did you get your girls im thinking about fem seeds from attitude.

Oh shit my bad man. I did take a lot of em off there. Got high and started reading shit on the net about geotagging on photos and got paranoid lol. Ill fix it later tho. Ur advice makes total sense man. I appreciate it. I just hate to lose a plant cause I've never had one die lol. Ill post the pics back for sure so u can check it out. I just have to work on my closet for a minute. Trying to get more room to work. But I get mine from single seed centre. Mostly all I've grown is autos but I've never had these kinda problems with them. But I will definitely post pics of my setup again and I appreciate ur advice.

Change of plans. Can't work on the closet. Here's a pic of my setup. I moved them to this 250 watt mh Friday. I transplanted the rocklock into a 3 gallon pot. That bitch is just growin straight up. I can't get thick stems on any of my plants. The rhino was doin fine and I fucked it in a bucket lol. The veneno is tall too. But I keep the light about 8-10 in from em but could it be stretch?

I would put some 6500K CFL bulbs hanging about even with the middle of the plants to thicken the stems and promote secondary growth. Also when i was using a HPS it was just a small open reflector keeping it super close to the top of the plant i used my hand to judge how hot it was getting just make sure there is NO water on your leafs or you will burn the stuffing out of them. Also i would LST those branches down to try to maybe stop some of the stretching and get more light in the middle of the plant. Also if you pick up CFL bulbs get 23 to 26 watt they equal a incandescent 100 watt bulb make sure to get 6500K its what they need for veg. and 2700K for flowering They make work lights with a clamp you can clamp them to anything or take the reflector off and clamp off and just hang them around the plant as needed. Also they make a Y adapter to turn one socket into 2 so you could get more light out of it well coverage. Or if you have the money T5 or tube floros would be the shit for side lighting they are flush and you could mount to the sides of your cab Also CFL are fairly cheap to buy and run plus they last a real long time.

Wish i had MH above them then surround them with my CFLs but it would be way to hot in my box and not enough space Next grow box i build will have a setup like that with the CFLs all around think i might make this one my veg and a bigger one for my flower.

Bro post all the pics u want. Its no problem. I kno u helpin and not jackin. I took ur advice on some supplemental lighting, well it'll work for now anyways lol. I took a pic and will post shortly. And I took ur advice on trying something. I kno it was a longshot but I put a new batch of nutes just a bit hotter with it. The bubbles are barely touchin the taproot. I hope this helps with all the deficiencies the rhino has. But I put my t5 fixture next to my veneno and rocklock for better secondary growth. Let me kno what u think.

here it is. It is suppose to be 10,000 lumens. It uses 2 twin tube 55 watt bulbs. I figured the 3000k mixed with the MH would make a good combo?? I figure if nothin else I'd turn the veneno and rocklock 180 degrees to even the growth. I'm definitely gonna lst the rocklock branches to the side. Would u like me to post pics of individual plants just so u can c em?

Nice did you have that on hand? And yes buddy i can help you pick out what ones to tie down if you would like im not a guru but i'll help you in the quest for more bud sites so take them pics What do you got for tie downs?

Yeah buddy 3000K is more a flowering spectrum but you should see a change for sure and if in a couple days your liking what your seeing i suggest throwing in some standard 23-27 watt 6500K CFL the spec really matters and yes dual/multi spec is best for sure but you want the 6500 range for growth each strain is dif but i can tell in my box the plants that are getting more 2700 are getting fuzzy as all hell and the ones that are getting more of the 6500 are growing lots of lower growth also partly due to the prunning method i have been using but without the light there would be no lower growth well not like this Ive done tests taken plants out of my box and blasted them with either or using only one spectrum and the 6500K i could see the growth in only a few hours not like holy shit but its there and the 2700K the growth is still there but takes a full day to show a difference just a little bit bigger and a hole lot more fuzzy/sparkly "Hoping its good smoke" heheheheh.

Lol hell yea I kno what u mean man. This lemon skunk I got, I'm on the 3rd one. I can't grow to get good yields but man the bud I been gettn is dank. I got a lil over an o the first one. That's the best I've got so far and I lost a lot of shoots and leaves on it. I'm defo gonna add cfls but I may wait till I get my big cab done and fill it with artificial sun lol. I had that fixture on hand, first one I bought for my medicinal studies so I can't ever get rid of it. It worked good for startin em but I think the light stretch was its fault due to the setup so really my fault, go figure. The first is rocklock. I'm thinking tying the lower branches down and out some. I was considering topping it one node from the top to get its size down some and even all the other shoots out? How's that sound? Maybe too much stress? well ill let u suggest whatever and ill run with it and tweak it.

Just put mine to bed im going on a week and a half 12/12 this is a pic of some LST work right before the switch and still no sex signs there still really small so it will take time for them to catch up colas are exploding with new nods tho
I have limited space so i must grow small ive seen and read on here you can do it with CFL now i belive and when i smoke some of what i grow "i hope" then its will say on my grave stone "MJ Plants in every nook and cranny he could find to grow" cuz if i can get this profected thats exactly what i will have im so addicted to the CFL game its not even funny if i didnt have to do it stealth in a fing box i would go crazy at lowes on the lighting isle. You can have them touching your plant if done right now thats some "cool" shit

Post more pics of your setup veg/bud rooms i dont feel like i have a real handle on your setup yet. No one in real life knows about my grow so its nice to chat and swap setup/plant pics and kick ideas around

Ok so you could hella bend that bitch straight over! You have to start slow work your way from top to bottom of the plant slowly bending her ever so gently after a little work you will be able to bend more and more and more just make sure you do it slowly and feel for stress and stop when you feel stress and move to another spot to bend slowly. Make sure you have your tie handy so you can hold her down with one hand grab your tie with the other wrap tie and opps forget to mention if your using tape have that ready to like a precut peace ready to secure your tie down. then i would suggest LST to those lower branches out wards at a 45 angle just so they are pointing out of the pot not toward the main stem. You can also tie down fan leaves to uncover lower growth or like ive always done selctive prunning.

Tie it to the outside of your pot the top tie the top to the outside of your pot and spread those lower ones i forgot to say to the tie the top to the outside!

Hell yea man I could talk about this for days. Greatest hobby ever. Shit it don't matter if they're small as long as they're healthy and happy. Less space would probably actually help me out. Utilization of ur space is key imo and I DON'T have that down lol. Sorry I never explained dimensions of my cab. Its kinda ghetto but it was just a start. Its a 22"x48"x60". My 250 watt is run on a cool tube. My buddy in hvac hooked me up with a high cfm exhaust fan for a bathroom. Not sure how high but it pulls all the heat out the cab and room. I really don't need the cab cause its in my washroom and the doors stay open but it keeps the light away from the windows. I will probably use it as my veg room with the t5 fixture and cfls and the closet under construction will be for extreme veg and flower

Oh ok. Yea that's how I lst'd my first lemon skunk. Top over the edge of pot and second shoots pointed 45 kinda like they were the ones comin outta soil. I got another lemon skunk clone, I did it again like that. I may do the veneno that way too
