Hi all.. Finally graduated from CFL's and got some 600w digital ballast.
Currently 3 plants are 17 days from sprouting and rest have just been planted/sprouted pass 2 days.
They are under 600w MH conversion bulb at 75% setting.
They are around 20 inches away from the light.
3 plants that are 17 days old are 10~12 inches WIDE and 5 inches tall..They are SO MUCH bigger than my previous CFL grow.
Do you know why the plants grow so wide? Or is it just the strain?
I topped all 3~5 days ago and seems like im getting 3~5 tops per plant.
600w mh/hps lumatek ballast.
air cooled reflector with glass covering the bottom.? Good thing or bad?
Will have 300CFM van exhausting the light+air into carbon filter and have 100 CFM fan blowing air in.
Two mini fans blowing air inside for circulation.
Soil is foxfarm ocean forest with 20~30% perlite in 6" pots.
4x4x6.5 tent
Using Foxfarm BB,GB,Tiger at 1/3 dosage for the 3 week plants.
Temps are at 67~83f. Lowest 67 lights off highest 83 lights on.
Strains are G13xChunkD , AK48 , Jock Horror , Northern Lights, MazarxAfgan, Skunkmans freebie haze/skunk.
I am planning to keep a few mothers.
I still dont know how i should sex it to keep mothers and take clones.
Any advice?
How long should i veg it?
Please give me any advice if im doing anything wrong please..
