First real PNW outdoor attempt. Bigger than expected

Grew from seeds indoors to start. I planted outside in mid April in PNW and the weather has been great! Any tips would be appreciated. I have a Wedding Cake whose stalk is to big for my hand to wrap around, snow White who started slow and has overtaken all, a Durban Poison who seems happy, and 2 Nicole’s that are clones and seem slower/smaller. The three hit 7’ today and the Nicoles are 4-5’. When do the start to flower here and how much stretch should I expect? I didn’t expect them to be so tall considering wverything I read said 3-5’…..

I have been just using a 20-20-20 and switching to some humbolt 2 part and sweet and sticky. Once it starts flowering I was going to add flower stacker.

Look into more support, netting before its to late an a storm flattens those to the ground.

Beautiful plants. Fingers crossed for a strong finish for ya. Hope the weather keeps cooperating.

I have netting at the 3’ level and just ran a support band at the 5’ level to be able to tie to and keep wind from blowing them too much. Should I add netting to the 5’ level also?
I think I should have another couple weeks before flowering starts, should I expect them to stretch more? Everything I read said these strains would be in the 3-6’ height but they are 7’ and still have time before flowering. Are they going to be 10’ range?

I envy you in a way. I've thought many times to let a few of my girls grow wild just to see what they would do.

I'm not supprised to hear they are hitting the 7' mark. I've seen them get 10' tall and awesome like yours. I keep my plants in 5 gal fabric pots and even topping them they will get to the 5 to 6 ft range.

Since they are so large, I would hesitate to do a complete maintenance on your plants, such as topping and lollipopping. I would though, recommend lollipopping the girls. I believe it it may be too late for topping,

Overall, you have a good crop comming along and they will increase in height, hard to forcast how much.
