First Really Real Deal Grow

This is going to be my very first real deal grow, which pretty much means what it means. I've grown numerous amounts of times but never anything to high yielding due to lack of lighting and money. This time round I still got some pretty cheap shit going on but with a job and a new found passion for selling shit on ebay to get my plants every need I'll have some decent money to actually get some good going on. So I guess i'll provide you with a list of what i got now and a list of what I am going to get.

Now
-1 400W MH (DIY style)
-1 100W MH (security)
-shitloads of CFLS
-1 plant (bagseed - Bag of weed this came from was pretty shitty but i'm hoping to improve the quality with a little bit of love so far so good will post pics soon)
-2 4'x8' rooms (Here's where im sure most will laugh, my cheap ass stapled some tarps up a 8x8 room so measurements all together is 8x8x8 which is 512 Cubic feet then split that in half with another tarp. I then painted the tarp white with a paint can and paint brush. I'm still in the process of doing it I got a pretty good size of the room done today and will be finished by weeks end.)
1- Pack of Green House Sativa Mix Feminised which contains... SUPER SILVER HAZE / ARJAN'S STRAWBERRY HAZE / ARJAN'S HAZE #1 / NEVILLE'S HAZE /HAWAIIAN SNOW (dont have them in possession but on their way)

Will be getting
2- 1000W (HPS DIY BALLAST one will be used for MH from my understanding the only difference electronically between MH and HPS is the Igniter which is because the HPS needs 5000V to start please correct me if I'm wrong I hunger for knowledge I'm still 24 yrs young right out the army and found marijuana does wonders for my ptsd still looking for the strain to help with my ADHD thou man i'm sidetracking. Anyways back to the list.)
1- 400W HPS (DIY style)(gotta keep it even)
2- 712 CFM Exhaust fans with carbon filters. so with the room being 512 cu. ft. the air will be replaced in less than a min. so it will be hooked up to a thermostat hopefully this will be enough to regulate temps.
2- space heaters winter is coming round the corner and these walls aren't that insulated so i have to be prepared to battle the cold ass winter nights in the mid west. hopefully the heat from the lights alone will keep the room at an appropriate temp.
1- Pack of Green House Sativa Mix Feminised (For my seed collection for future growths)
1- 10x Greenhouse feminised cannabis seeds indica mix H GREAT WHITE SHARK- LEMON SKUNK WHITE RHINO - TRAIN WRECK - CHEESE (would like some suggestions on what i should grow i'm looking for two strains and one's for the perfect sativa for me and a decent indica for my insomnia and a friends of my anxiety. For my sativa strain i'm looking for something to help my creativity i make beats and when i have a good high there is just nothing that is like it in the world than to smoke a great bowl and knock out some great tunes on the keyboard. Also with my terrible ADHD I know that i can't focus on a lot of shit so i like a clean high during the day. Dont want no slouching shit and it defiantly has got to give me the giggles i like that shit to find that humor in life again. Can never have to much humor in shit, helps get ya past things. For my friend he has anxiety really bad so with a little bit of research we decided it'd be best for him to smoke indica to calm the fuck down. Maybe start getting him to mix it up with the shit that gives him the giggles get him out of that bubble of being shocked by a different high.)

Also I will be growing soil and hydro I will be wanting to be doing a do it yourself Hydro so if you have any suggestions easiest and cheapest route please let me know.

Sweet it worked the way i wanted to man before i tryed going thru the whole personal grow journal and fucked my shit right up. Well now that we are up and running properly I look forward to growing with ya'll and i want as much advice as i can get. Please if possible when providing certain advice if you could direct me to sites to support your ideas please do

Looking right now at some aeroponic cloner think i may do a DIY version. I'll see what I can do and i'll post my homemade version

Alright went to take care of things today, my seeds still haven't came in the mail yet. I'll still continue to wait patiently I lost track of when I ordered them, I prefer it that way so i'm not being all worked up by being impatient and shit. I got 4 cups with some bag seed seedlings, figured that'll keep me occupied til my other seeds come in. I have a bag seed plant flowering right now it's height stopped at 16" does anyone know a strain that only grows that tall. Maybe I can narrow down the genetics of the plant. I'm pretty sure she's trying to kick into full flower seeing the leaves go from seven leaflets to five. Through out most of its veg it only had a 100W MH and a couple CFL surrounding it. But it started to flower before i even flipped the cycle to 12/12 either way i was happy to see them hairs and see it was a female. That was about a week ago and then she stood at ~13in w/ seven leaflets. I have a pic I have a green CFL party light so i can take pics without disturbing but pics dont come out all that great, good enough however to show one problem i have. My plants are clawing downwards it seems, could this be due to a deficiency. My soil seemed dry today, checked it with one of those moisture meters and it said my soil was dry. Put some water in so maybe that'll fix my shit up i dont know.
Now i have some inside the cup 4 of them bagseed about 6 days old now, germinated 8 days ago. They seem to be clawing down pretty bad themselves but way more than any of my other plants. My temp in the cupboard i have them is around 75-80. They seem to be pretty healthy some are turning a little yellowish in color, why would seedlings be turning yellow like that? Well take a look at the pics you got any advice, any tips please leave them thanks yall

Alright these bagseeds are one week old today i need to put some labels on them so we can identify which are which. Thou honestly not sure what good it would do identifying the bag seed came from the same bag and i plan on feed it the same and everything else. Who knows but maybe i'll get into some experiment, I plan on having some fun this grow. See what we can pull off, and everything else. Also good news, some really good news I went downstairs this afternoon after the wife got home and found a package for me on the table. I knew exactly what it was my green house seeds came in Thank god thou im doing some bag seed. Here, mainly indica as far as bagseed goes around here, not my favorite but hell I love marijuana i can't complain. It does do what i need to be done at night, sometimes depends on what i get. Lately only been able to afford rego's and lately my hours been cut from work so that dont help o well get more time with my babies when they start needing that little extra affection. Go in play some Beethoven while making sure my girls are getting the best environment possible. Any body know anything about the UVB CFL's i've read up a bit on UVB and the production of THC sounds pretty interesting to me and probably going to try it if i can get some money when I need it. Either that or find something else to sell on ebay, i bought a lot of shit while over in iraq that i haven't found myself time to use, so said fuck it sell it and get yourself some better herb.
Anyhow here they are at one week old i know they are pretty small they're under 2 5500 45W CFL and one 25W 3200(may be wrong on this one but damn close) CFL
Also they female that's flowering are showing a little more flowers, she has reduced down to the 5 leaflet leaf can't wait to see how many her next one is going to have. Wish i got in there during the daytime. But on her top some leafs seem to be turning a real dark purple, and fades to a lighter shade. I'm thinking maybe it's my room temps at night. Fall weather seems to be on it's way so night time it's been about 65 degrees.... I think. so maybe that's taking some what of a toll on her. Can't wait til' my paypal shit clears so i can get my 1000 watter coming in. Question how warm will a 1000 watter make a 4x8 room. Is there any temp way i can cool it til i can get my exhaust built in. I'll have another 1000W in the room next to it and it's only seperated by a tarp i wanna make sure temps dont get to high would a couple osculating fans cool it down enough for the mean time. Once i get the exhaust in i plan on utilizing those fans by putting them on the plants. Not literally on the plants but to blow them bad girls and make sure they build up to be nice and strong.
I gotta get off here to go find my baggie, some how i fucking lost it. It's the bag my Bag seeds are from not sure if i'll ever smoke those plants again I have never in my life lost so much shit til' i've been smoking off of this ounce. Just some Regos a little bit of a body buzz and really fucking spacy. I'll move shit literally thinking forcing myself to remember where i put stuff but poof out of fucking know where my memory of that shit is gone. Crazy... Anyway let me shut up and post some pics.

Alright today is the 19 Sep 2011 it is a Monday i do believe... let me check real quick...Yes it's monday so my bag seed plants are 9 days old, the look really beautiful they started to perk up a bit. I'll have pictures of them on here in about a half hr to a hr. I'm going to wait maybe another week and see how they look before i throw them under the 400W i'm definitely going to transplant sometime next week. The root production on these girls is inspiring they are really going strong really pleased with how these girls are going. Hopefully they give me some really good potent weed, im thinking whomever grew the last bag didn't know what they were doing because it just wasn't some fire ass weed that im looking for. Or is there strains out there that just straight up suck donkey dick, im sure maybe in the DNA somewhere the plant has been downgraded over time is possible. Hopefully these seeds came from at least one good plant weather it be it's mom or pops. A friend talked me into just keeping the 400W MH unless the 1000W MH is absolutely necessary because i have to run another line. Which I have no problem doing I work on electronics and electrical shit all the time, I used to work for directv so I'm good at running line. But it would cost more money and everything else, so I'll just flower with the 1000W HPS and keep vegging light at 400W. Moving in a year anyway and will have a room to put both 1000W's up and both 400W's I suppose i could hook up 240V this way i could add more lights down the line in the future. With the 240V it cuts the current in half so you are putting as much heat in the lines which you never want to have to many amps to go thru, I may just put 2 20Amps in and just add on as I go.
The Hazes are still germinating they got some roots showing just not as much as i like yet so i'll let them keep going. I put them in a paper towel, which is in a zip lock then i placed it atop of a Dish Network receiver which keeps my seeds at about 75-80 degrees what temps are to high for seeds thou? I was a little curious doubt i'll get answers haven't gotten any lately so i'll probably just end up looking it up. I missed getting in during the day for my flowering plant, so it'll be that crappy green light thing again. Well let me get off of here and go get my stuff started and ready

Alright and here are the pictures, I moved my haze seeds to peat moss, my super silver haze hasn't germinated yet but i'll give that a day. I hope it does, i didn't even check to see if green house seeds had a guarantee. I'm confident all will work out fine, Not to many pics but give you an idea on how these babies are doing

O and it looks like i need to get some CAL-MAG for the one that's flowering got some spots on her. I may actually just add some epsom salt to here maybe tonight and see if she improves over next cpl days

Well i had a really long post here lined up for yall but i got distracted by my baby and my computer went to sleep, and apparently it dont like that because it gave me the blue screen of death so i cried because it was a half hour worth of writing, but anyway maybe i'll manage to remember what i posted and fill you in as much as i can so today you will get pics first here are the bag seed at 12 days and one about 12 days into flowering (not really looking all that much that far ahead but i spotted the white hairs 12 days ago and its been on 12/12 for about 20 days not sure of its entire age) Hopefully this starts out right and you'll see the start of the sequence of the numbers on the cup at the beginning each number should be the beginning of each sequence

Alright well this post may be no where near as what I have wrote before which kinda sucks because it was pretty damn good, well thought out. But it's alright well I have some news my 1000W HPS is coming in tomorrow so hopefully the one that is flowering right now will love me for that. Little worried because i dont have my good fans coming in quite yet and I'm a little worried about the heat production by the 1000W i'll probably get another osculating fan in there and hopefully that'll do the trick until the 530 CFM fans come in. They are ordered I got a tracking number but it's from the damn label being printed from ebay. That's alright thou, i'm patient and I know it's all coming together and i'm going to love what I get. A lot of work and money into this, but it's worth it to give these girls what they need to be as happy as possible to make me as happy as possible. Got 4 sheets of 10 x10 panda film coming in I'm pretty stoked about that. That'll increase the reflectivity quite a bit O, man I can not wait. I also have some nutes coming in I'm going to do a little bit of experimentation. I have some superthrive coming in and open sesame( for the one flowering and planning to use it for BS 1 and BS 2) I will be ordering some products from the same company that makes the super plant tonic they have a go green, flower power, and a foliar spray. ( These will be used with BS 3 and BS 4) I wanna see if I can tell the difference between the chemical shit and organic, i've been told I would be able to tell the difference if not in yield you will in quality. And quality to me is way more important than yield is, yea high yield high quality is great but best quality and ok yield is even better to me.)
Well i'm going to get off here and do a little bit of research and continue to try to determine what's wrong with my plant i'll probably be getting me some Cal-Mag here shortly well everyone i'm off.

Alright i'm happy to say my HPS has came in today it's set up and my plants that's flowering got a good 8 hours under it. I Also transferred bagseed one and moved her to a bigger pot, i'll be feeding her first dose of nutes tomorrow going at 1/4 strength it will be miracle grow which never gave me problems. I'll find and order some foxfarm nutes when i get more money in from paypal shit takes forever to clear. Also with Bagseed #1 i'll be doing a tiny experiment i'll be putting it into 12/12 right from the start to see how much of a yield i lose by skipping veg. I'm really disappointed right now with my seeds from green house I have 2 that did not germinate I thought the neveille haze had a root going but it was just a piece of paper towel was wondering why it wasn't getting any longer. The seeds had some color coating one yellow and one blue were next to each other I guess the colors mixed on the paper towel and had this really weird hue and the paper towel had a rip and was rolled right under the seed. Well damn, this sucks looks like i spent 40 dollars for 3 seeds, which blows but it is what it is. Well I'll take some pics tomorrow and show my girls under their new best friend

Alright more pictures of my plants, I don't know how my plants are really doing its hard to compare to how they are supposed to look since i really dont know their strain. To me personally I'm amazed at the size of the leafs of the bag seed the leaf are massive. I'm wonder how it really is going to turn out seeing how the bag it came from was shit. Just some regos i bought for 30 a 1/4 smoke really wasn't all that great but it done the trick. Son of a bitch i'm spacing bad right now I got some well grown shit which i guess goes buy "medical" round here. I mixed a couple kinds not even sure what strain they were i didn't bother to ask just happy to get some good quality shit. Damn getting off topic, let me get back. I do have pics for everyone everything seems to be doing pretty good I over watered one or two of the BS plants nothing to severe they still look rather healthy except for one which experienced some transport shock, not really worried about how long it takes for it to recover as long as it does. The mixture i've been giving them is quite a mixture I mix in a few quart bottles of water and mix in all of the following per quart 1/2 tsp of Epsom salt, 1 tbsp molasses, 1/4 tsp SuperThrive, 1/2 tsp salt substitute (for the calcium also supplies phosphorous from what i've read), and some 3% Hydrogen peroxide is Altered between watering cycles so it gets this treatmeant between fertilizers one week and then the next week between it gets bottled rain water. So really my plant is only getting two feedings of just water, not sure why I'm doing this I just started it and it's been working really well. During my fertilizer feedings I mix in all that was mentioned before along with BMO 1 tbsp/qt Grow it Green. and 1 tbsp/qt SPT). This is all for the BS Plants 1-4, I just developed this feeding schedule off of the experienced i've had and from things i've read. As far as the the feeding for the one that's flowering it's pretty much the same except during the fertilizing stage I'm giving 1/2 tsp of open sesame from the fox farm line, soon to start the beastie bloom which is fox farm as well. They are looking well, i've done some trimming, my hazes are finally getting roots. Now that the roots on the hazes started to kick in they are starting to look pretty good now, well shitty for their age. I'm not sure i'd have to look back thru this but they are pretty old and have done pretty poorly so far hopefully they recover with what ever was the fuck wrong with them. But let me stop talking i'm sure i lost most of you 3 sentences behind. Damn I didn't add any paragraphs so it's just one big rambling fucking crazy cluster fuck thing..

Nice looking plants what was the yield off of your one plant, i want to know a relative of where i'll reach I dont wanna set my hopes to high which i will unless i know what average is. Those buds look really nice, how was the smoke. Were you shock it was from some bagseed.

it was a small palnt like 2 others i have but the big 1 should have 2-4 oz and 1oz between to of my smallest and a good 2 off and mid size plznt and the plant in question is now in the curing process and the last weigh out was 1 1/2 but i figure 1 good oz from it. 3 of my pants got sick early in the veg state so they were not very big but i hear most plants when grown right get 2-4 oz indoor outdoors 1lbs per plant

Yea that's kinda the spot i'm aiming for i was hoping for at least 2 oz i'd like more but I know it's gonna take a whole lot of love to shoot for higher. LMFAO i dont even have a scale so i wont even know what to do when it comes to weighing I'm sure I'll find a scale, I know some one who knows someone. My plant is only 18" tall but she's has came a long way from the nasty heat stress of the summer. The room it is in is being constantly recycled from outside. My ducts are crazy the way i ran them cheapest way i saw possible but it works i'll post pics maybe tomorrow. The bud sites are amazing on the one that is flowering and I hope she turns out to amaze me in the long run. I'm hoping to get a little off of her by halloween not a lot just a little teaser.

i havnt smoked any yet becuz i cure for 2-14 weeks in mason jars and they are in their first week curing. i would have to say ur plants look a bit stressed and over fed but healthy, but this is my first grow too
