First SCROG attempt, 100 watt hps

Started off with two white castle clones. They were taken from a plant that was in flower. I revegged the clones and they turned into weird single leafed things. Evidently this is called monster cropping. Each of the two clones shot up 3-5 growth tips without any sort of training, fiming, etc. And the whole time the plant was growing single blade leafs, looked pretty interesting.

I "vegged" the clones for about 35 days and decided to try using a screen. Here are two trials. There are different materials used as the screens to experiment with preference.

They are about a week into flower.

100 watt Hps
23-46 watt daylight cfl supplement
Foxfarm/organic mix
About 1 square foot of canopy space

I say "vegged" because really they were under a single 23watt daylight and used a wick for water.

Any advice is appreciated. This is my first time using any sort of training so I'm pretty excited.

Bigger of the two clones. About 2 weeks after reveg.

Underneath the bigger clone after the 35 days of light veg, about 1 week in flower/under screen

smaller clone under rigid screen, 1 week under screen/flower

Hey thanks.
I was just thinking. Are you suppsosed to weave the branch over and under the screen? Or just kind of guide the stem under while the bud shoots stick up?

I am not a scrogger but do not weave the branches over and under the screen. When one pops up through the screen, simply push it back down and guide it to where you want it to grow, whether its the next cell over or 5 cells over. The object is to spread your growth to where you need it and to have all budsites receiving equal amount of light. It's the ultimate way to grow IMO and I just might attempt it myself next grow.

Happy Growing!!

in the end,you want every hole filled, and only by pulling the growth down and moving it to the next cell or couple of cells over,no weaving.

Nice thanks for the advice, I changed some branches around. Here's one of the plants, it's starting to bud nicely at 4 weeks flowering. Trichomes are starting to appear on the immature leaves and on the larger buds. The smell is getting stronger, a deep rotten fruit smell.

Does the plant look healthy? I don't have any experience with scrogging and I wanted some input. If anyone sees anything they think might be stressing the plant let me know thanks.

Should I trim some of the fan leaves? Or is it fine to just push them under the screen and leave them. I appreciate anyone with advice.

Never trim fan leaves, unless they are almost dead already. Fan leaves are your plants solar panels, and they provide the energy your plants need to grow. If it is underneath your scrog and not getting any light at all I would consider it, but try to avoid it if you can! Good luck to you!
