first shot at coco flood drain need help

My room is only 6'6 tall and with lights hanging and a res/tray i only have 38" from the top of a 2 gal pot to the lights,which are cooled. I want to know what you think is a better set up, 2, 4x6 trays with 3k on top of em

1. doing 28 1 gallon pots per tray, with just a few days veg in a SOG

2. run 2 gallon pots with 12 per tray and veg to about 14-16 inches

im running sour deisel and grape stomper if that makes a differance
