First signs of Amber?

I think these guys are getting close. They have been in flower for about 56 days. There's not a lot of hairs on this lady. How close do you guys think I am based on these pictures? IMG_7196.JPGIMG_7193.JPG

IMG_7212.JPG This is the best picture I could get at this point. I just saw what I thought might be Amber and that's what made me ask. I don't think it's getting any bigger though.

Check out the "is it done yet" thread as there is more than trichs involved, I would say it's got a bit more to go myself, maybe a bit less nitrogen to finish off.
I have checked out that thread I figured I still had a week or so left until I saw that Amber. This is the other plant that was started at the same time. I'll wait A bit longer and then I'll start my flush thank you

Thank you for the replys so far. I'm going to let her keep going. I'm hoping somebody can help me understand what I'm seeing up there. Is that amber in those first pictures? I thought that came towards the end of the harvest window. I've done a lot of reading on this and I appreciate the personal input from you all

Do a search here for clear Amber or RM3. There are different types and clear is different from cloudy. And also I agree with Doc that it looks like it can go a bit.

Those aren't ready, I'd say at least 2 more weeks. What strain? What's the breeder say about flower time. Figure a week more than they say. I've yet to see a stain that actually finishes when the breeder says. The supposed 8 week strains go 9, the 9's go 10 wks. Environmental factors also pay a role. I have a blueberry I've been running for 2 years now, always finishes in 63-65 days. I'm running it in a new tent, totally new setup I'm dialing in, and I can tell she's about a week slow from where she should be.

I have a have a HSO green crack that was showing amber beginning of week 8, it's a 10 week strain, amber isn't the only deciding factor. You need to look at the whole plant, all the little signs. The majority of pistils will start receding into the calyx. The calyx will then start to swell. This is when you start watching for the trichs to get milky, not just a little cloudy, but milky. It's a daily core checking them at this point, you need to decide if you want 50% milky, milky and amber, or wait for it all to go amber. They change quick at this point, sometimes going from some milky to all amber in a few days.

Thank you guys so much for the info. It was just sticking out in my head that amber appeared at the end of the harvest window and that's what bugged me out.

Doobie......Many sativa's don't amber up much, if at all. The new world breeders or underground breeders, making the newer uber potent strains.....Well, those strains don't amber for shit!

Granted it's hard for many to actually find a bean/cut of this newer stuff. Most of the things with those "names" being sold on the big seed sellers sites....Aren't really things like "cookies" or Gorilla Glue #4......

It's now becoming important to be able to look at a plant and "know" what "done" looks like - without amber....
The best I can say here (for now) would be to run long - longer then you think.....

I'll see what I can do for making up a thread with pictures of low or no ambering plants and them being done.
This will take me some time - so don't wait too long to harvest - when the time comes.

trichs can amber from damage, age, maturity, heat, stress, rot, mold, so, could be anything maybe, a bump while moving and fussing?

IMG_7257.JPG I truly appreciate you guys putting in the extra bit of information for me, thank you. I would have most likely cut it all down by now and compromised my harvest. In an effort to enrich my first growing experience. I decided to take small sample from a lesser part of the plant to try. I'll dry it's slowly and check it out in a few days.
