Thankyou. I'll never use IT (i imagined them to be brown soft things, like philosophers stone), but i may have the need to educate someone else about it one day. Thanks, again.

Molasses is the purest form of sugar. It is a sap with vital nutes but not from a tree, from sugar caine. Peace BBE

molasses trees!

molasses is the waste from making granulated sugar.

most of your supplements are 90+% blackstrap molasses; ie, sweet, carboload, lk.....

Hey! now you're being cruel. I've never been very organic. Carboload has got to better, specially formulated for plants, bio....whatever.

Can you use molasses in DWC? or hydro?

w-ell....

you can, but i don't realy recomend it unless you don't have a problem cleaning your res and lines every res change

molasses is sticky. i haven't seen if florakleen will flush it out, but that's the biggest draw back; it will leave a residue.

carboload is mostly blackstrap molasses. so is sweet, so is karma.

where would you buy something like that, molasses?

Don't forget i'm from the UK, we do things differently over here. we have head shops everywhere. For a litre of liquid carboload it costs me £12.50. About $22 (guestimate). Would that be considered expensive?

well here you can buy a liter of mollasses for about 8$ USD (£4)Generally grocery stores carry them. Pretty much anywhere that sells waffle syrup.

But is it as good? like KP said, with the residue thing (certainly no good for hydro, dwc, nft and whatever else) but is it as good as carboload in soil?

I would guess that Carboload would be slightly better since it is manufactured for growing. but definitely not worth triple the money.

molasses sound a little messy. So to a noob, with not much money it'd be better to recommend this stuff. But if they have a bit of dough then recommend the carboload. I started with carboload, have never used an alternative so I don't know.

...lucky bastard..here they are ALL disguised as something else, mainly convenience stores with a small section devoted to tobacco.

I got mine from nirvana. I've noticed that with a couple of my seedlings. I can already see the sativa dominance in the leaves.
