Can't really remember my first music/pot experience but I do remember listening to a lot of James Gang, Zepplein, Doors, Sabbath, and Cream when I first started smoking.
Cream and derick and the dominoes were some of my first favorite bands :-D

Don't go getting all misty eyed on me..:-D
Unfortunately,my early memories of "music" is church choirs belting out hymns, sounding more like a wildebeest groaning during childbirth than a choir...
I sooned learned if you sprayed fire extinguishers in the church hallways,Christian's aren't so forgiving, and you don't have to listen to the choir anymore,as you're not welcome back...
I was 6 dammit.:-) it was a mistake.

thankfully i was never forced to go to church as both my parents were heathens, much like myself.. my mom went to church when she was a kid, but i guess stopped when she met my wild old man.

Overbearing grandparents were the culprit in my youth...
Grandfather would never listen to the dead, even tho I know he would love some of their acoustical stuff, because they did drugs.
Loved the fuck outta some George Jones tho :-D

With the first trips - Shine on you Crazy Diamond - the weird guitar riff in the beginning - was crazy. same thing with weird bell sound from the Doors' Alabama Song

I never liked the Beatles until I listened to em on acid

they were just talking on the radio the other day that cassette tapes have become the hip things for kids today, and were saying, why, oh why, they sucked when we were forced to use them ffs.. you were the shit back in the day if your car stereo could fast forward to the next song..

Nowadays I've been recording CDs to a flash drive for listening in my car.
get the flash drive/usb/micro-sd card/Bluetooth/Auxiliary cable/Sirius/CD player units...they've gone down in price, and then you got bragging rights..plus anyone with any type of hardware who gets in for a ride can play their tunes...
It even chops! :-D
