First time Aero

Well...1m2 aeroponics system+rainforrest cloner just arrived and i have got 20 sprouts now,w8ting for dem to grow a little before transplant into the rainforrest for some veg growth.

They are growing in RW at the moment and i am wondering if i can just let em stay in RW + some clay pebbles when I transfer em? I see some try to cut away most of RW before they transfer em to rainforrest but im affraid to stress em.



And yeah,Im a total noob in aeroponics but If I dont try Ill never get the hang of it.

And with this great forum maybe my first Aero grow will be a blast!

seedlings growing like hell after first time use of T5...

I know that the water temp in my cloner should be around 24 degreese celcius but how LOW CAN the water temp there be? Im now at 17 degreese celsius.

Why rockwool in your aero unit?

I just started the seeds in RW...and when the roots pop out under aboute 5-6 cm I split the RW an took out seedling and put them in the rainforestwith clay pebbles around them. It Is working but im not sure this is the right way to do this.

I had no motherplant to take clones from so now I am making some new mothers in soil. Just wanted to start off with some seedlings and see if It would work this way

You let them root in rockwook then ripped it appart?!


you can just surround the rockwool with clay balls and the roots will grow through...

Yeah,I was thinking that RW would totaly soak the roots with water and make them rot....This is the first time I try aero so advices are helpful

Can someone plz tell me why dutch pot systems dont have a hole in the bottom to change water....man! Getting my drill right away!
