First time box growing details please

Hello, i recently got my hands on some type of furniture which i am going to modify as a grow box. I am not thinking too big, i just want few decent flowers to fullfill my needs..
Now the specific Details:
The size of the 'box' is 37x32 (cm) and with height of 66 (cm) or in foot: 1.2x1 and 2.1 (feet).
The walls from inside are made from some kind of metal ( the furniture used to be a refrigerator 15 years before) and outside its wooden.
Also the only ventilation hole in this box is a hole with size of 12cm (~0.39 foot) located at the side of the box but near the bottom of it...000 Bottom and fan.jpg000 Box From above.jpg000 Bottom and unplugged fan (1).jpg000 Bottom and unplugged fan (2).jpg

Now the questions:
1. I am thinking of using some small watt HPS like 70w or 150w but i am afraid that the heat will be too much. Should i go for those small HPS or will it be better to use CFL and take 4-5 of them?
2. Any type of HPS lamp will need a ballast and a reflector? because of the space problem that i have i cant find any ballast-reflector that can be put inside there...
3. Should i paint white the metal walls or should i better use mylar?
4. I have made some type of homemade fan with carbon filter and stucked them in the hole!I hope there wont be a problem with that..
Sorry if my questions are damp but its my first time growing and even though i have read lots of books i want to hear some answers from people with experience...! Thank you in advance!

If you have proper ventilation you could use a very small hps, otherwise just get a couple 42w cfls. You could paint it white or use mylar on that, mylar is just more reflective which iss what you'll wasnt using cfls in such a small space, get that light reflected as much as possible. cf's work well just make sure you built it well so all the exhaust air goes through it and get cleaned. You could also use odor eliminating cfl's which would help a lot in such a small space.

i will use double side tape to stick the mylar inside... i quess that with mylar and 2-3 CFL like `seamore green` said the light will be enought.. but i read again and again how better the HPS is and i am thinking that maybe i should do my best to modify the box so that i put small watt hps...

If i am to take CFL lamps could u suggest me how many should i get? i have enough space to put 3 plants in there and not be overcrowded....! I was thinking of taking 2x20w 2700k (like ` angrybeaver`) and 2x13w 6500k but i dont think this will be the best i could...

I don't no much but what Iv been reading is that u won't atleast 50w per plant but the more light the better, I would say the amount of lights ur thinkin of is similar to me which is just enough light for one plant healthly but like I say I'm no expert!!

If you want dense plants get as many cfls in there as possible withoit getting too hot. Use the 42w ones minimum two per SMALL plant. I used them on my first grow and got a decent yield. Keep them real close to the plant but watch them so your girls dont grow into them overnight and burn

I have made a plan to light my box. I will use 5 bulps at all times. Firstly at VEG i will have : 1x 32watt coolwhite ( 4000k ) , 2x 23watt cool white( 6000k) , 2x 23watt homelight ( 2700k ) = 7600 lumen.
Flowering: 1x 32watt daylight , 2x 23watt daylight ( 6000k) , 2x 23watt homelight ( 2700k ) = 7800 lumen.
or i could use at both stages: 6 bulps at once:
1x 32watt coolwhite ( 4000k ), 1x 32watt daylight(6500k), 2x 23watt cool white( 6000k) , 2x 23watt homelight ( 2700k ) ~ 10 000 lumen
PLEASE! someone with experience give me some advice about this setup
