First time brownies - How do you make them taste better?

I just made some Brownies and I cannot stand the taste! Tried to eat one but could only get half down. And to get that half down I had to mix it with ice cream. Also the half of the brownie I ate didn't get me high. If anyone with brownies experiance could tell me some tips for taste and amounts needed to get high that would be great.

Method I used to make them:

I started by simmering 1/4 cup of oil and putting it in a thermos with 5g of ground up nug then left it over night. The next day I cooked it on low for 50 minutes and added 2g's more and some trim. Then I strained it out and put it into the brownie mix. Cooked the brownies at 350f for 30 minutes and then cooled and put frosting on them. I cut 10 brownies (About 0.75 per brownie).

Also does it tasting very strong mean its potent?

350f? thats way too high for edibles, thered be no more thc left in the brownie , i never put my temps above 300

edibles are always best eaten on an empty stomach some can handle more than others thats just how it is but you put your oven way to hot , i always use about a quarter or a bit more so round 7.5-8gs per brownie batch .

Ive never used the thermos method and i probably never would, if you want theres PLENTY of threads on here with wonderful information do some diggin round.

If your trim and bud are super dry it doesn't taste as bad from my experience. Also, use more herb, keep temps lower. Consider a glycerin tinc. Takes a bit longer, but I think it's easier and tastes less cruddy. Last, when cookies brownies, always use milk instead of water and butter instead of oil.... Helps make the taste more rich. When eating brownies no one can really pretend they're using oil and water to be healthy lol They're f'in brownies

we use butter thats made at a rate of 560grm of trim and popcorn to 1lb of butter. this allows use to use mostly yellow butter in our recipes.

I use a 1/2 oz. of decent weed for a 9"x13" inch pan of brownies. I use brownie mix that calls for 2/3 cup of oil. I cook the oil for about 2 hours at 210-230 degrees and stir it a lot, then strain it out and wring every effin drop (I use a cut up mesh veggie bag from a grocery store to strain so the oil doesn't soak in). Then I just put it in the mix like normal and bake it. I cut the pan into 24 brownies and 1 of them is a kick to the head for most people, but with even with a high tolerance 2-3 of them will have me flying for hours.

Sometimes I add a tsp. of vanilla extract to throw in some more flavor.

Also, I think 350 degrees is fine, it's not like the brownies actually get that hot (or even close) since the pan is only in there for a half hour roughly. If you're curious, just stick a digital thermometer in and check.

You are right on both counts, THC does not vaporize at 350.
