Well I won't believe just people saying it's the best prove it post pics that compare to mine my plant are 31 days old under a 250w MH and the growth is freaky fast and I've watched CFL grows at the same days old HALF the size so please prove me wrong 20161019_152019.jpg

A 300w cfl puts out a ton of heat. I think your probably better off with splitters and hang 23 watters all around the plant. At least you'll get penetration that way and a 6 pack
If them is like $8.
Not bashing your grow. I have had great success with cfl's.

I get people have had great grows but are you getting 5-6 Oz a plant like me under my HPS 600 ??? Because if you are I'll go buy cfl's right now lol

Of course you're not gonna get 5-6 Oz from cfl's. This isn't a cfl vs hps comparison. I was simply stating if one is gonna use cfl's, one should look to penetrate better with them using smaller bulbs and placing them around the plant. I veg under cfl's and use led for flower. All for personal. I don't need the heat that comes with 300w cfl's or 600w hps.

If you really want to stick with CFL's u would be better with 2x 300w or 4x 150w than 1 600w, you can spread them out then and have better light coverage all over your plant. IMO you would be better with a 250w hps (get a dimable ballast then u don't need to change if u want more power). You can put CFL closer to the plant than a hps, but with the extra lumen output of the hps it still gives your plant more light from 1 foot away than the CFL at 2". CFL's also put out a lot of heat, they just have more surface area to dissipate it, so they both have the same impact on your grow room temps. any ventilation you have that can deal with the heat from your CFL should be fine with a 250w hps imo.
Your plant looks ok though and I hope you get what you want off it
