first time cfl's grower...i need advice.

alrght so im a first time cfl's grower...
i been growin these 2 plants for about 2 weeks now.
and i just recently got a cronic seedlin.
its somekind of purple m not sure wat though.

rght now i got a cheap light setup.
i got 2 27w cfl's day light wit 5500k each.
about 2 inches off the top of the plants.
and i also got 2 23w cfl's warm white wit 2700k each.
im goin to be gettin 2 more 27w day lights soon.
but for now this is all i got.
i also have a fan on them.

any advice will be appreciated.
and i was wondering wat u guys think about the plants??
are they koo for 2 weeks??

Aye Dawg U Need To Transplant Them Plants Into Bigger Pots Cause They Are Kinda Small To B 2weeks at 11 days Mine Were Bigger Than Them See 4 Ya Self "New To CFL Growing" But They Cool Look Healthy Tho

If you have an Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, or Wal-Mart nearby you should be able to find some light bulb sockets that will plug directly into an outlet or extension cord. They're cheap...like a $1 + change and tax. Then screw a "Y" splitter into that. It will turn your bulb socket into two bulb sockets. They're nearly as cheap. Get a few $2 extension cords and plug the setup into that and drape the extension cord over something (above the plants).

You can probably find 42W cfls at any of the above places as well. I can find 45W cfls at Hy-Vee for some reason. Add a few of those to the setup and you'll notice a difference.

Are you using nutes yet? If not, it's time to start giving your plants weak doses until you work up to full feeding. Again, if you're on a budget just find Miracle Gro Tomatoe Plant fertilizer. It's like $10 and 18-18-21. You're plants should love it for vegging. By the time you flower you should order some tigerbloom or similar product though.

start lst after 1month or so.That way it can be strong enuff to handle the bends.You can use nute at your local garden store or at home ddepots garden section.

get you some more daylight light bulbs i have 4 26w daylight bulbs on 4 plants and mine r 3 weeks and 3 days. for flowering your gonna need more softwhite light bulbs preferably 42w. as for the lst that is not my area. the nutes their talking about u can find at a hydro store. but any harware store,meijer.walmart,kmart, should have a decent selection of ferts. for vegging u want something with a high Nitrogen. for flowering u want something with high phosphorus here's my grow https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/163780-new-grow.html

fans. fans my man. need air circulation and they will also help with temps after you start addin all these lights /\/\ when i first started growing temps were my biggest problem and i still have to keep an eye on it. Also i found some nutes at albertsons that i have been using and they have worked great, even flowering. But they look good to me at 2 weeks

3 weeks to a month after sprout. im usin miracle grow all purpose plant food

well heres accouple updated pics of my plants...

i think its because accouple of days ago it rained all mornin and i had forgot the plants outside so i think it got watered too much.
but the other too seem to be fine.

the first one is about 2 weeks old.
and the other two are around 3 weeks old.

looks over watered let the soil dry for a few days

is it normal for the first set of leaves to turn yellow??
not the seed leaves.

and well one of my plants is turnin brwn an yellow at the tips of a few leaves.
anyone no y??

i just bearly started usin an all porpose MG..the one the disolves in water.

whats the ph of the water? and are u usin it full stregth?

i dnt have a ph meter.but i been plannin on gettin one.
were can i find those??

and about the mg i put one tease spoon in a bottle about the size of a windex bottle.

is it liquid MG or the powder? and u can find pg test kits meijers,walmart,aco,ace,any pool supply place,place that sells fish home depot,lowes list goes on and on if ur usin the powder mg u should only be usin 1/2 table spoon per gallon if u keep them inside 1 table spoon per gallon if outside

ok yea the bottle i have is 32 oz bottle and i used about 1/2 a tease spoon.
and well 2 plants keep gettin worse i have more leaves turnin yellow.
an one is still saggin and not growin.

but my smallest one is real healthy.=]

wat does it mean wen u have purple stems??

u have pics of the stems. cause my plants stems turned a lil purple buts thats just normal i assume. but u really need to check the ph and how often r u feedin them ferts?
