First time cloning. - Pic

Hey guys, I've done my research, both on this forum and google and have come up with the easiest way of cloning; water and a cup, lol.



Any advice for my first clone?

Eek! I don't know if using water only will work. Best bet is to go to Home Depot, etc. and get some cloning gel. It has hormones in it that will stimulate new root growth so the plant can actually grow.

i don't think you can clone from fan leaves

you can't, you need an actual stem

Man, you are really gonna have a nice big leaf when your done growin' that one out.

Go to wallmart and get some rooting gel ASAP!
Any rooting gel there will do.
Do this and you will have succesfull clones:
-Get all your materials out next to your plants!!
You will need gardening siccors(regular ones aren't sharp enough and stunts it!!!!),rooting gel,a glass of water,rockwool(you can get it at wallmart and home depot aswell) and a kitchen cutting board.
Lay all the materials next tothe cutting board.
Now,cut off a clone.Not just a fan leaf like youve got going there.For good strong healthy clones,cut it off at the base of the stem and have multiple leaves.
Directly after cutting dip it in water and then dip it in the rooting gel.Get allot of it on there but not too much.Then put the clone in rockwool.
I use a tupperware to put all my clones in.You need to have 80% and 90% humidity and putting it in a tupperware with a lid on top will give it allot of condensation and it will be more controllable.Use fluorescents or an MH.(Hps will also work but not as efficient because the color spectrum is off).Keep lights on for 24hrs. or 18hrs.Wichever you are more comfortable with.
Keep the rockwool cube nice and moist.
The clones may look like shit for a week or 2.This is the time when all the energy is spent on root growth.Don't be too alarmed.Aslong as the clones look alive,it should be fine.
After a week or 2,root growth should be fine and the clones are ready to be put into vegetative state.If u want the clones to flower with the mother plant.
Just let them vegitate for atleast a week or 2 under 18 hrs of MH or fluors.
After that,u can put the with the other flowering plants.
Yield will be less if u flower a week after vegging ofcourse but i think it's quite worth it.
I only do one shot deal grows.
I don't like the whole having the garden up and running year round.
I usually do 15 plants.I keep them in veg untill they are showing male or female pre-flowers.(balls or pistils).
After that i take usually about 10 clones.
I use the males and hermaphrodites for Hash.
I put the females in flowering and i keep the clones in a cheap cardboard box,painted white with holes on the sides.i then attach the CFL's on the top corners of the box and i put the box in with the flowering plants.
No lightleaks.
After a week or 2 i put the lights from the box from 24hrs. to 18 hrs. of light.
I Veg the 10 clones for a week or 2 and only choose the 5 strongest ones.
They may veg for a little while longer(untill i feel comfortable).
Then i transplant them into 3 gallon grow bags and i put them in with the rest.
I treat them the same as the others.

There you go.How to properly grow clones.
You dont have to only veg them for a week or 2,btw.
Another way to increase the yield is by re-vegging the plants u harvested.
Simply leave some leaves and small branches when harvesting.Put them into 24hrs. of lighting.
It will look very weird for a month.But after that they will look normal again.
Give them regular veggin nutes.

Out of 8 females from 15 plants i usually get around 400gr.
With the 5 clones,i usually get around 200gr.
After revegging i get around 350gr.
That is 950gr. in just 5 months time.
i use it for personal use and it lasts for 2 years.
Don't sell,don't tell and you won't have cops at your doorbell.
