DAY 7 OF FLOWERING

Ok....so today i put up the black and white to seal off the light and smell better as they are starting to reek......i covered all walls and ceiling and made a little door i have to finish tomorrow cause i was making too much noise and its late...wouldnt want the neighbors downstairs to call the cops..he he he......i did this all by myself with one long peice of black and white....and it was not easy......for the most part the plants are all level now i had to raise some up but their growing fast i already had to move the light up twice this week since the beginning of 12/12.......im going to apply mylar maybe tomorrow just on the middle section of each wall......im also going to go through the plants tomorrow and try to throw out some more pesky males...i addad a few pics just to confirm thats what a male is...lol i think i know i just dont want to waste one of my ladies.....seems like theres alot of male to female ratio if many females at all...we'll have to see....my friend has the same strain mothering right now so im good if i and up gettin screwed....is it alright that my temp reaches like close to 90 and the humidity is 70is somtimes?....i try to leave the door open as much as i can and its cool than just whan i have it closed it get real hot even with the fan runnin......i think im going to order some feminized seeds for the next batch....i want to get some snow white...a friend of mine used to get it all the time and it has such a distinct smell that i love....plus so potent....im ordering 2 mercury vapour uvb bulbs to put in soon...one on each side of the hps...found some amazing ones that will project close to 400 uW/cm2 of uvb at a height of about 2 feet which is amazing and perfect for the job......let me know if these are indeed males so i can kill off all the ones that look like this....the balls usually come in bunches am i right???

Lmao (no homo) and your plants are looking great how old where they when you topped them?

90's are tolerable for most strains, but closer to room temperature would be ideal. the humidity is too high, if U aim for 50%-60% thru out veg and flower then U should be ok, plus it relieves a lot of headaches and worries when U are away.

U have a nice setup but now U need to think about ventilation (as in a fan at the bottom of the grow room pulling cool air IN and a fan at the top of the grow room blowing hot air OUT) that'll help the temps, humidity, and replenish the co2 (in most cases the co2 levels Indoors is higher and better for the plants than it is Outdoors..)

^^tha'll help a lot until U feel its time for a cool tube or an air cooled reflector.

DAY 9 OF FLOWERING

i actually topped at the fourth and fifth nodes...some were a bit bigger than others...and im working on the heat i also have to worry about smell getting out too as i am in an apartment!!!

ok im going one step at a time....i will get a dehumidifier soon for sure and i was thinkin bout a portable ac with dehumidifier just waiting for some cash flow.....i got the room basically sealed off with black and white and mylar now i finished the last of it today....ive been keeping the door ope and the corner of the plastic open during the 12 on a bit and the temp is looking better i also have ac in my place now and will have another one in right close to the room this week......so last night i decided to go through the plants and ended up throwing out 16 confirmed males.....i also and am very happy to say i have 5 confirmed females with pistles...the tohers look like there all female aswell but not fully showing so well just have to wait....i was very excited tho and woke up my girlfriend just to show her lol.....shes not as into it as i am tho......i also cloned 17 clones of off 2 of the females and have them in a dome in cubes under a few t5's.....i used a rooting hormone i got from the local head shop...so far they look good havent rooted i dont think.....how much water should i have in the tray like an inch or so.....?and should i be using veg juice on the clones already or wait till their planted and rooted?.........heres a few pics i took today.... i was wondering if theres any inti smell tricks anyone knows of besides carbon filter?......

as far as any tricks...well, Im growing in an apartment too,

-im growing half as many plants as U tho, that makes a huge difference.
-my strains are strawberry cough, sweet purple, and bubblicious - all low odor strains
-and lastly I cut a hole in the ceiling for my exhaust fan, all of my hot, stale, smelly air is being pushed out thru there and into the attic.

little smell escapes into the apartment bcuz i keep the door closed at all times. and I have 2 plug-in air deodorizers in my grow room and Im looking to get a ionic purifier for the rest of the apartment.

I always keep my apartment clean, to give it that "golf course" feeling when U enter.
I clean the kitchen counters and floor with lemony smelling ammonia and vaccum twice per week bcuz I have a dog that sheds like crazy and the smell of his dander is on everything.

and most air conditioners have carbon filters so running ac will help with the smell also..
thats how I control smell.

hey guys sorry ive been really busy and lost my camera charger so im awaiting one from ebay, yeagh im finishing sealing the room off this week and im making a carbon filter and exhaust with my buddy....the clones are doing decent some of the bottom leaves died but there living and look alright.....all females now i have 31 females and the highest one is like 3 feet abovve the soil or more...there staring to really stink and are crawling with pistils...yumm..i caqnt wait thanks for your help guys and what light in what first pic?

they look pretty sweet. I have just started a similiar grow with 13 seeds of BC Mango at day 2

DAY 17 OF FLOWERING

Hello everyone, i finally got my camera up and running, i have 21 females all staring to bud up real nice...they look crazy i didnt look for a few days to surprise myself when i did...and IT WORKED!!!......there all doing great on the fox farm nutrients.......i took some pics of the buds starting to some it......it looks amazing...ive never seen them in person like this!!!......tomorrow im gonna completely seal it off and build a little door to get in with 2/4's im also making my carbon filter tomorrow and im gonna fix it all up a bit and possibly replant them into 10" pots, what size pots should i use from now until the end of flower??? i was thinking 10 but is that sufficient?....ill be posting more pics in the next few days....let me know what you guys think!!!

wow those colas are gonna be like 3ft tall by the end of flowering!

10-12" pots would be plenty of space, they could easily finish in there.

hah...why do you say that...that would be awesome...do they look real good than? everything seems to be going great i havent had that many problems i guess growings in my blood he he he,,,,you never know......they are looking great and growing like at least an inch a day.....reaching up to the light......and buds everywhere.....stinkin real bad too.....i cant believe the bud formation is stunning!!!

i was referring to that two headed monster above thats reaching the door nob! i didnt peep the lower branches tho, looks like two plants growing from one head..

10-11 weeks flowering minimum..but the extra wait will definitely be worth it.

no shit i didnt know it would tsake that long i was thinking like 9 weeks or somthing, how much do you think i can yeild with 21 plants just under a 400? there coming in nice, im adding a mercury vapor bulb that emits 400 microwatts per cm2 of uvb at about 2-3 feet in a 2 foot radius on half of them to see the results of the resin and thc production, this will mimic somewhere where theres a high spectrum of uvb light...where most of the bombest chronic grows naturally, ill have it on 4 hours a day in the middle of the 12 on cycle, im gonna go take some pics right now and post a few, happy tokin

2 oz per plant (dry).

that uv is gonna work great for ur trichs but U may wanna invest in a reptile light uv bulb. theyre fluoroescent and willl emit little heat. I leave mine on the whole 12 hr light cycle and it really helps.

plus thatll lower the amount of watts used..

21st DAY OF FLOWERING

STARTED USING BEASTIE BLOOMZ WITH THE REST OF MY FOX FARM PRODUCTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK!!!

im not replacing the hps, im just adding this mercury vapor bulb for the trichs, its a uvb light that emits no heat but is like 50 times more powerful than any light purchased from a pet store, its a zoo model i had to lie to get it saying i was a huge reptile hobbiest, heres some pics of my plants from august 2nd and august 4th, i keep putting the biggest one up to the door knob to show how much its growing so quick, its starting to fill in more as its the one i cloned from, my clones are actually doing good to there rooting right now and im going to transplant them really soon to 6 inch pots until im ready to bud tham than im gonna go into bigger pots for bud, let me know what you think of the pics, i try to make the as wicked as i can!!!

54TH DAY OF FLOWERING

WELL MY COMPUTER HAD CRAZY PROBLEMS THE LAST FEW WEEKS SO I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO POST...I JUST GOT EVERYTHING SET UP AGAIN SO I THOUGHT ID UPDATE HOW IM DOING....I HAVE FINISHED MY EXAUST AND CHARCOAL FILTER, I GOT ANOTHER 400W AND NOW IM LEFT WITH 15 PLANTS THAT HAD TO BE RE POTTED CAUSE THEY WERE ROOT BOUND...THERE STARTING TO GROW AGAIN...UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE OF STRESS I BELIEVE THEY HAVE SEEDS ON THEM....NOT SO MANY BUT THERE IS SOME FOR SURE..........OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING GOOD, I HAVE SOME NEW CLONES FROM MY BUDDY WHO HAS A FEW MUMS OF THIS STRAIN FROM ONE OF MY FIRST PLANTS, .... I MADE A EBB AND FLOW TABLE OR A FLOOD AND FLOW OR WHATEVER ILL POST PICS SOON, ITS JUTS FOR 6 PLANTS BUT I ALSO HAVE 2 TUBES FOR 6 PLANTS EACH SO IM GOING TO BE DOING 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF HYDRO NEXT SO IT WILL SAVE ME SOME TROUBLE..........LET ME KNOW WHAT EVERYONE THINKS ABOUT THE WAY THEY LOOK A FEW OF THEM ARE KINDA BURNT TIPS ON THE LEAVES AND A BIT YELLOWY...HOW MUCH LONGER SHOULD I LEAVE THEM FOR??? DO THEY LOOK ALRIGHT SIZE AND ARE THEY FORMING ALRIGHT....WILL THEY GROW Alot more???.....THEY LOOK KINDA SMALL TO ME FOR HOW FAR ALONG THEY ARE BUT I THINK BY REPOTTING THEM I SHOICKED THEM AND ITS GONNA TAKE LONGER........ANY GUESSES WHAT I CAN YEILD OFF 15 PLANTS THAT LOOK LIKE THIS THIS FAR ALONG???...ANY SUGGESTINS WOULD HELP....WHAT UP GANJAGODDESS?
