first time going wanting input about my grow

my plants are about 1week old. i am using 4x 42 watt putting out 2700lumes each. i am useing miracle-gro potiting mix. i have a fan that i need to put on it i dont know really where i should have it blowing.

any input on this would really help

I'm not a CFL user but I think you have the wrong bulbs. 2700 is for flowering. You need something like 6500's.

I could be wrong though....wont take long for someone to put me on the spotlight.

Don't blow right on the plant, aim it so they're just wigglin a bit.

You need to use 6500k bulbs for veg. & 2700k for flower. Sometimes people use a mix of 6500k & 2700k though.. (at least I was advised to for my current grow)

The CFLs you need are normally labeled as "Daylight"

ok thank i was thinking about trying to get a 150w hps bulb to put in to but was not sure about that one

your bulbs put out 2700 lumens. right the 2700k and 6500k there talking about is the color spectrum NOT lumens those bulbs are fine. i have 2 of them in my grow with 2 65w ones too. but ya 2700k and 6500k is the color of light the bulb puts out and they are right about 65k for veg and 27k for flower. but as long as your right about the 2700 your saying is lumens ((light intesity)) your right on
