First time grow ever. Germination question

update::: I transplanted into bigger pots, the one on the left is going into flower as soon as I get box built. Half way there now. 4x4x8' made out of plywood and 2x4's Putting roof on it tomorrow and painting it flat white. Then make the door. and start ducting. I will be taking the plant on the left and tying it down. I'm new, so anyone jump in with info. But my thought is, this plant went to two main stalks when I topped it. both them stalks have a potential bud about every half inch. Most of them are not getting the light to be a decent size. So I'm going to tie down about 4 main branches, so light will get to lower buds. I will have a 600 watt hps on just this one plant. for a few weeks until the other two are rdy. Tying down seems like the right thing, anyone is welcome to give any info.


During the veg. I topped this same plant a few more times and will have about 8 main colas I hope.

Just waiting for flower box to get done. Any tips? 1 is 26" tall other 2 is 20". Running out of room here. I also notice the t5 I thought I could use for veg, is not strong enough. I'm thinking thats why it took 8 weeks to get 2' tall I put 3 cfl's in there and could really see the better growth. Going to use the 2' t5's for clones only and put about 6 or 8 cfl's in veg. box. These were from fem. seeds, so I'm thinking take clones off right before going to flower box. Would pulling clones from the lower branches be the same as lollipopin?
