k ya, i almost put them under light today decided to wait for them to sprout, middle one is taking for sure cause i flipped that seed right side down cause i planted them on side, how long till you think they will be ready for some light?
ah so i can never make up my mind but i got some sound advice and had to flip the 2 seeds i didn't plant face straight down, used tweezers all looked well some of the shell on one came off but i just put it inbetween the root and the top, hopfully all is well also my ph is about 5.75 is that alright for now
Yea thats fine 5-5.5 is best. I would get light on them as soon as they sprout, But thats just me. Im getting ready to post some pics on my journal if you want to check it out, Maybe get an idea of good ranges.
haha ya, there all looking healthy, i cant believe 4 out of 4 seeds took! but ya i was wondering how i would post pictures in replys like this or do i need to do a more advanced reply
Go advanced then scroll down and click manage attachments...Pretty simple after that. I wouldnt be too suprised though the seeds im growing are 2+ years old and I still got around 60-65% germ rate.
so heres what i got 2 days from planting...
this is the one i am most worried about it is so low and you will see the other two are higher and dont even have there leafs!
so this is the one i am most worried about
this is a side view where you can see that tall bastard
here is the other short one
here is the best view where you can see the tall one vs the short
basically what i am asking is if its bad to have them like that, or if the tall bastard is going to be huge compared to the others
It wont extend that root anymore but trust me by now it has at least 4 new ones to replace it. By the way my "weak" plant is the one that ended up being my sexiest. Just give her time.
good idea with those plastic coverings but really, thats what the hydroton ( the clay balls ) do by itself. if you were using soil those things would be helpful to stop bugs or algae.
well they have been doing good, but i cant seem to get them to stop stretching for light! the lights are fairly close 3-4 inches and the 2 strong ones insist in stretching
