First Time Grow (Need some Advice)

Hey so this is my first time growing or posting on here but I can’t find the information I need on google or any forums so I’ll give you a bit of background on the plant Incase any of this factors into why my problem is happening

It’s A random seed i Found in a mix bag of a few strains around January threw it into a random pot with another’s houseplant in it and forgot about it, couple months later there was a seedling but the Covid Lockdown hit and I was unable to get any new pots or soil and the UK weather has not been great this year. (It’s been growing on a windowsill, then outside and now It’s in a green house when the weather is bad)

I eventually got all the right soils, feeds And pot sizes for transplanting and have been taking great care of it since, I recently moved it into a 22L pot from a 10L for the final Veg stage maybe 2 weeks ago)

The plant is about 2 foot tall and 1.5ft wide now, and shouldn’t be flowering for another Month minimum especially with the bad weather but

I have noticed that it has already grown its roots out of the drainage holes whichever seems incredibly fast, my problem is I can’t put it into a larger pot than this as it would bring to much attention to my neighbors!

Is the plant just destined to be root bound and probably end up sick or is there something I can do about this??

Thanks hopefully some can help!

itl be fine don't worry.you can if you like slash the roots but itl just encourage more root growth so nothing will change really.

Ya it sounds like that plant was bursting at the seams to get into a new pot.

With longer veg times you def want to be repotting more than short veg obv.

There’s no way to know for sure if it will become rootbound and have issues, under normal circumstances I would tell you to up-pot it now in preparation for flowering. On the flip side, many guys have also succeeded in growing big plants in small pots without issue.

Best of luck

Yeah I would up pot but unfortunately I only have a small portable greenhouse any bigger and I can’t put it inside which is too risky with neighbors, hopefully she makes it through!

You don't need to pot up just because roots pop out the pot.
Just be sure to keep an eye on how often it wants water so it doesn't wilt mid flower.
