first time grow see pics!!

i have two 4 foot floros about four inches from the top why will she still bend and is it bad for her?

I've seen many peoples plants bend, as long as it can support itself it should be ok. Shouldn't be bending much if the light is directly over the top of the plant unless its looking for a better source of light...it is best to keep fluorescent lights within 1-2 inches from the plant. check out my grow...

Further more you have 2 options, one is to love the lil one and let her try and keep up, but never clone her, or 2 toss the bitch in a hole.

Thats not a contradiction, nor is that my chart.
First off I would do what I told him or I would not of suggested that.
Secondly the chart is from the growers bible (Jorge Cervantes).
Now the reader can go with what the Growers Bible says and take his time moving up or he can take my advice just go straight to a 3 gallon and allow those roots to flourish and really grow out.

really grow out and make te worst of the available space? hahahaha dude ask any great grower and thy will tell you to work your way up in pots. i bet ican get as big if not bigger a plant ina 2.5 or 3 gallon pot then you can with a 5.

you can keep them in the same pots untill you see roots emerge from the bottom. also bro do you have t12 floro? if so you can get those within an inch of the tops . shi they ca even touch the leaves with no damage done

and just to let everyone know i will be putting them all in 3 gal bags as soon as i get the cash for soil i have 26 more plants that need to be put in sooo thats alot more soil

You ever seen green roots? You know whats cause that?
I can't school you any more, Please read any book from Ed Rosenthal. He has over 20 to choose from.

roots do need oxygen, but in the water that the roots uptake...the more oxygen in the water, the more the plant can absorb.

Have you seen that misting roots along with fogging? It was super crazy. The plants get fogged with nutes and misted so its like shooting main stream on the roots. I saw it high times last summer. It was a awesome grow. Never heard more about it though?

no, never heard anything about that...i've heard of aeroponics, but don't know much about it. I would think they would be similar.

and as the roots go I should have read the original post you were referring to when you said what you did(lazy, didn't want to go back a page)... I check holes daily in my pots to make sure the roots are not outgrowing them. If I see any root when looking at the holes I would transplant...Usually you should notice in time to prevent damage from air and light if you are checking.

at some point the roots will not want to go through the holes as a result of damage from light and air they will start to grow upwards in an attempt to stay alive...This is how you get rootbound plants...once the roots have used all the space that they can use and have nowhere else to go they begin to die as they grow out of your soil into light and air.(transplanting at this point does not help much since your roots are intertwined to the point that even given more space it will be hard for them to use it.)

Saying that, I have seen people grow nice plants in smaller pots.(I would only assume they would have been better if given the room to do so)

Yeah thats what I pretty much advise, optimal conditions will get you better results. But yeah just getting by and doing things that you should not will also give growers results.
This article in high times was awesome they fogged with nutes, it was like the ultimate. I am soil but I like to read what others are doing.
