Hey, This is my first post along with my first grow, i tryed to read the "Read here first post" but the pictures didn't show up so i thought id post my own plant problem
Ill give you the details of my cheap ass grow .
Since im on a Extremely cheap budget im using 4 CFLS 26w 6500k
There on a 18 hour 4 hour off cycle
I dont ph test my water, Again cheap budget i leave tap water out on the counter with the lid off wait for abit ( a day or so ) before using
I only water here and there whenever i see it dry as in 1" or in till my first knuckle, I dont use any nuts right now intill i get more money
again its been a very slow grow ? i dont know if its like this for everyone else? but i feel that my plants really tiny?

Over fed ? I only water every 3 days or so and the soils dry? I came back from a snowboard trip and then my plant looked like this? at the time i didnt have a timer and i think it was on 24 hours ? Is this planty even going to live lol!?

Your soil looks a little too compact, do you have perlite mixed in?, how's the drainage?, what kind of soil you using?, they also look a bit stretched, you could lower your lights a little.

what i mean by overfed is the strength of your solution, not the frequency of watering if you get me.

Its normal potting soil? Again im on cheap budget i found some laying around its just all pure soil, as for drainage im not sure on what youre asking? It drains and its drains after i water it ? I just started using distilled water is that bad? I thought plants only stretched if theres not enough light? I got all theses questions for a first time grower i guess i didnt read as much as should have

distilled water is good, I really think you have PH issue going on with your tap water. PH strips can be had for $3

Can you post a picture of your overall set up? like your lights and all so we can better understand your situation

Lol For right now i just got alittle ghetto ass hood setup ..... Since im using lamps i cant really lower my lights so i just raise my plant off the ground . I get paid this firday so i will put alot more money into it this firday. But it said CFLS best light is produced from the sides so thats what im doing ... Im using i do believe its a 4ft by 2ft grow tent . I will take a picture

They will stretch toward the light if it too far away, low watt cfls can be pretty close.
It really is better if you had some perlite,it holds moisture and air so good for the roots.
Even if you add some sand to the soil when you transplant would be good.

They're sayin you should put the lights (CFLs) about 1 to 3 inches away from your babies for starters. Just use regular tap water that sets for 2 to 3 days, and when you replant mix your soil with perlite (no additives) or vermiculite to airiate the soil, for oxygen and max root growth.
And it looks like you over watered..put the lights close and wait a couple days, they should perk back up, and put a small fan blowin on them for stronger stalks....Hey we've all done it, tried to kill our babies with love = over watering

Don't be so hard on yourself,it's all a learning curve and turn mistakes into positives by learning from them,I bet there's guys growing for many many years who still learn something new from time to time:-P

Your lights are too far away, can you hang those light fittings upside down and keep them close, you can test if they are too close by placing your hand over the plant for a few minutes and if the light is too hot for the back of your hand it is too close.
As Riknstein said a small fan will do them the world of good.
Keeping asking questions if you need to,you'll be fine.

Gotta agree, those lights are way too far away for your plants, if you can't lower you lights, raise you pots.

I'm using two 4ft double bulb T5 HO hoods with 216w @ 20,000 lumens of 6500k, along with several 26w CFLs 6500k hanging around my babies with some 2700ks mixed in for good lighting spectrum..Here's my setup, I had to remove some light to take pics...

and growing aint hard unless you make it hard, don't eyeball them every 5 min..lol..(easier said then done for a n00b) and don't water until they ask for it, they will let you know..good luck and you'll get it
