First time grower - concerned about mites and nutrients!

Hey all! Total newbie here first time grower. Thanks for welcoming me to the community!

I received a female transplant from a friend, Darkstar x kush. The plant was looking extremely healthy - I replanted into a 5 gallon pot, got some miracle gro organic soil (couldn't get any fox farms or anything better at the time) and started feeding some fox farm nutrients. I am growing under a 150 watt HPS.

I started seeing little white spots on my leaves, thinking it was some sort of pH lockup or nute defeciency. I then found some mite eggs and witnessed some mite movement, at which point I immediately sprayed safer brand 3 in 1 on tops and bottoms of all leaves. I'm planning on continuing doing this every 48 hours for the next week or so to be sure I got rid of them all. My question is this - should I get rid of all leaves with spots? There is lush vegetation so I'm not too worried about it, but wanted an opinion. Also, is every 48 hours for the spray too much, or not enough? I'm doubting these are the super mites - my friend is a serious grower, and I think he would have a situation like this under control, or tell me if the plants had mites. I do live in a rural location in the woods, could I have tracked them inside? Could they have come in through an open window? Or from the soil I bought?

My other question is regarding nutrients.... That miracle gro organic has barely anything in it, so I had been supplementing with the Fox farms. Some tips are looking burned, but could it be from the the spray?

Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm a really concerned first timer so any input is appreciated!

Burned tips could be multiple things so post a pic if you can. Better yet, just get your grow pro buddy to take a look. Sprays that burn usually have an oil ingredient. Sorry, not familiar with safer brand.
