My seedlings are about 3 weeks old right now and I am unsure of how to sex them I read that forcing them into flowering to check the sex is hard on the plants if I don't see signs of sex in the next week should I goto 12/12 and force them to flower? I also am getting an indoor drip irrigation system it's not electronic I was wondering if anyone would know how to set how much water the plants get per hour or per day. Like would you do 1 drip an hour or more drips? How long should 10 gallons last 4 plants? Maybe that can help me adjust the amount of water they get. I live in Ontario and I'm only allowed 4 plants at a time. I'm using seeds I got from some pot they were full of seeds but I have a nagging feeling that all the seeds I have are all going to turn out to be hermaphidites. That doesn't matter much but I want to know so I would like to figure out how to sex them. I wanted to grow from these seeds mainly for the experience. I didn't want to pay $9 to 15$ a seed to fail. I thought using these seeds wouldn't cost me too much and give me valuable experience in germinating, growing, watering, sexing, feeding and cloning all this learning and experimentation I can do with these free seeds. I don't want to learn on $9 to $15 seeds they are a bit too expensive for me to experiment with. I've been raising red wiggler worms for many years so I have quite a lot of worm castings to use as fertilizer for my plants which means I have the best free fertilizer one can get. If you can help or just have some advice I would greatly appreciate all of your input.

Since you can control what's in your castings, I would recommend looking up coots mix soil. You'll find that he puts most of his soil ammendments through his worm farm, and the castings provide excellent nutrition watered in as a top dressing, or mixed with peat and perlite for a nice soil. Just means less work for you while they are growing.
