First time grower,going to stick through it till the end

gobears, you will need more lighting.
i have seen successful single plant cfl grows, done under about 6 20w cfls.

best results are under 40w

if he did he would have alot of lights
and maybe some weed to smoke

yup yup that is def true,and ive had a friend grow off one bulb the same exact strength as mine and he got 10 grams,he LST trained and it was fine,im gettting another light soon neways,im going to get a splitter from walmart! heres an updated pic of the new way i set up my light for when my seeds germinates so i can plant it!

R.I.P bigfoot. the same thing happened with my first three seedlings. all died one day. I figured out it was probably the heat that killed them--the next set did better with a samll fan (just get a desk fan they are only like $5)

for now you DONT need more light. The only reason to get more light is to cover more area, but with one plant, one light covers enough area.
you WONT get more lumens with more lights (the highest lumen output light trumps the other lights). https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/82702-lumens-they-dont-add-up.html ... more lights WILL make it hotter and that is bad news.

Try to get a high output CFL, like a 42 or 60 watt (eventually). If you want, when it gets bigger you can hang a few more CFLs on the sides of the plant to generate outward growth to make the plant bushier. However, more light = more heat so be careful.

I just planted my seed,going to Chicago for the night to chill at my uncles crib ill b back tommorrow at noon most likely.and thanks,yea im going to get a 60 watt bulb most likely wedsnday!and a splitter so i can run 2 bulbs at once,the one i have now and then the other,and ill buy 2 more lights evenutally
 
if you start with such a low wattage of cfl you will notice big problems in like a week

i suggest you get 23 watt, 2 of them at least as the bare min

if you intend on just experimenting, and using this as part of a learning curve, then go with the small amount of lighting.

8 20w cfls positioned around the plant, half 2700k and half 6400, (start off with less and build up as the plant grows) will give you 1oz +
 
i cant have a tall plant!im going to LST train bro and i do have a 23 watt duh!lol ill be fine and im getting one more bulb and splitter wedsnday i have no way to get side lights unlkess one of u would trade me lights for seeds *rictor im talking to u* lol
