wats up people, i love this site like.

anyway

im a first time grower, and i want to grow in a shed, but i live in Edinburgh, and choppers fly near my house everyday, im not too sure if they actually go over the place where i want this shed (right at the end of my garden)

anyway, i was thinkin about growing in a shed, i still need to buy one, but it'll be a decent size, like, 10x8ish?

and i was goin to section off a space enough for around 4 plants at the back by putting up some wooden panels or whatever up

so i have quite a few questions

lighting for 4 plant, should i just get 1 600w flurescent light or what?

and proper insulation to it wont get detected, what do people recommend?

and getting air out is the worst problem, im worried about the smell gettin out and ive read about carbon filters, what do these do?

and getting air out, would it be okay to have a fan going through the wall/wooden board to another space with a window which would be like, half open or what?

also, keeping temprature, in winter it's regular for the outdoors to drop to -5c (23f), what about generating heat? cold i just use normal heaters?

thank you very fucking much if youve read this :)

well thank you :)

buy a shed ..

put a grow tent in your shed

that way you dont have to worry about light and heat as much being detected)

600w (probably with a cool tube.)
4 auto pots
air in (4") (think about where you are drawing this from and cover the ends with netting to stop bugs getting in)
air out ( 6 ")
carbon filter

ps think about how hot it gets in a shed that is exposed to the sun light. my advise is try and have it not to exposed.

hope that helps

NO .. GET A 600W hps (HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM)

carbon filters attach to the end of the ducting that you run into your air out fan and it sucks the air out through it before going out dispelling the smells that need masking. look for carbon filter socks as they are cheap and lightweight

meh not the best tbh you might get away with it with a 6" but i not gonna recommend it. youd be better off spending a tener and getting a proper plastic cover to attach it to that looks neat and nice and go straight to outside imo.

if you do have to go to a window then id box the window off and put the tube in the bottom of the boxed of part so it stops it just staying in the shed and circulating.

ladies stop growing at 16C so you have to keep it up at that tbh. small heaters are good usually but you sound like your in for a tough slog on that front with the minus 5 shit in a shed :(

hope that helps some more :)
