First time grower indoors plant problem

:weed: Hi guys I am growing my first plant indoors and am having trouble. I had her outside till she was about 3 feet tall, I then dug her up and put her in a 5 gallon bucket in a pantry with a 65w cfl and a 3 speed fan. I am noticing since I transplanted the tops are sagging and the leaves were getting curled and crunchy. I watered the buckets soil alot when I put her in it to make sure it was wet. I used Kellogg all natural soil, that has bat guano and worm poo and other stuff in it all natural. The spot she is in is about 3 x 4 i have had her indoors on 16 on 8 off for about five days now and I am seeing no signs of improving. I watered it once since I brought it in and havent again cause the bucket is still heavy. I included some pics too thanks guys and girls :wall:

Moving a plant from sunshine, which they dearly love, to one cfl, which they don't love so much, is a major change in a plant's life....do you see the difference????

For sure this is one of the issues you are dealing with...youre plant is in shock from the major change and possibly cannot adjust to it.

Another issue you may be dealing with is your Kellogg soil. I made the HUGE mistake of purchasing this very brand at the beginning of this grow season. it holds water, gets fungus gnats, gets mold, does not drain well, and will delay overall performance of your plants. If all you have access to for soil is Home Depot you would be better off going with Scotts Premium Potting Soil or better yet Scotts and back to natural sunshine.

Also try getting more light and moving the one you already have closer to the plant u can put CFL bulbs very close to the plant without harm

ya there is no where near enough light for a plant that size, you need at least 3 of those 65 watt CFLs placed within 6 inchs. brasmith is also right on the shock symptom

I use one of the 65W (300w) bulbs on one sub 15" plant and it grows slow and steady but requires another tube fluro thats 15w and vertical to get the branches. I definitely think you need more light maybe just a tube fluro on the side like mine.

Pretty sure I am going to agree with everyone else on this needs more light. It might be growing fine but when it starts to flower and produce some buds...good luck.

Thanks for the info guys I bought a ph light and moisture meter from lowes and stuck it in the plants soil. The ph seemed to be a little higher than 7 and the moisture was on the moist side. I would love to keep this plant outside but my landlord comes in my backyard way too much and she was getting to big lol, I think i am going to try and change soil you guys think that will be good.

Man I think you were right about the soil I went and bought some miracle grow potting soil, wich is all I could find, but when I transplanted my plant the kellogg was totally drenched for a week now and had signs of mold, and the root ball was like literally mud still omg... I hope transplanting this plant will help her out thanks

Ok guys I have changed soil to miracle grow and added two 23w 6500k light bulbs and it looks like it is doing better, I still have one concern though I flushed the miracle grow soil and the bucket is still heavy after like four days its a five gallon bucket. I am worrying that its not draining fast enough, I poked big ass holes though lol.

Wassup brah, you have to remember when you flower a plant indoor, it doubles in size so I think your going to have to add more lights the first light, the 63 watt is a 2700K bulb Iam guessing you might want to rock like 2 to 3 more of those and change your cycle 12/12 as soon as the plant stables out a bit, that way it doesn't continue to grow or you going to have to add allot more lights. The mg soil should drain out I water my plants like every 3 to 4 days.

The light is a little low, but how is your ventalation? Your plants will be dead in a week if they dont get fresh air. They also look a bit overwatered, but nothing to bad

I need to work on the vent, I am thinking about cutting a whole in the top of the little grow area and putting one of those dryer ducts into the attic hehhe, right now I a fan circulating air in there but there really isnt no escape for it on top of the room.

I have the plant going on two weeks now 12/12 she is doing much better and has buds popping up all over the tops oh yessss! I am going to put some pics on tomorrow since its on the dark cycle but I also used a tomato cage over the plant for light mounts its kinda okey but it works hehe

Should be cool to see. Have you added any more lights? Perhaps more pay checks since then ;). You can really never have too many of em. Also it can never hurt the plants to go in a snap a couple of pics with the flash, I do it at least once or twice a grow.
