First time grower, into 3rd week of flower

Still early enough in flower to super crop your plant and watch an explosion in growth! I cropped my entire cherry og yesterday... I went from basically two colas to 10 :)

It does not slow down growth, allows more intake of nutrients to the plant and allows light to penetrate the bottom of your girl to create larger buds than not super cropping

Not to mention after I cropped my girl yesterday.... Within a matter of just 4 hours each bud site had turned completely upward towards the light... If there is one thing I could give advice on... It's to stress train and super crop...

I like the idea, but is it something I should bother with? I've got about 15 colas on this thing. May not be able to tell about the pictures though..

It will also help to even your canopy for even light distribution to the plants... Is super cropping for you? Depends.... Do you want a hearty harvest with an explosion of growth to the buds? Ive heard it also increases the thc percentage but don't quote me on that!

To my understanding super cropping works best with 600w or more. In your experiences would I still benefit with a 400w?

I'm currently using a 250/400w SunSystem self ballasted MH/HPS conversion hood with a 400w Hortilux Super HPS bulb... I super crop with fantastic results...

So far anyways...

I would think super cropping would be ideal regardless of the wattage of lights... You are allowing light to reach parts of the plant that it couldn't prior...

I agree with you there. I did a bit of pruning before I flipped. I'm going to do a little more research into the subject and reassess Thanks for the insight!

You should youtube it.... It's super easy! Took me only a few minutes and I'm glad I did! I have two rooted cherry og clones and two in the process of being rooted but the clones with roots got topped two days after removing from humidity dome and dropped in coco. All it has left are two fan leaves lol.... But it's nice and green and very healthy. Experimenting with topping very early so my next two will be bushes. But at least 5 clones from each :)

Im not kidding when I said I literally felt like I was killing my plant while super cropping. But I didn't and the results the next day were AMAZING! I'll take pictures of the results in a couple hours when the lights are back on. Looks so much bushier than before! And all the bud sites literally are curving back up on their own!

Hello all,
New to growing and this forum. Here to hopefully learn a thing or two.
I've got just one buddy under a 400w that is now in 3rd week of 12-12. Through trial and error my plants were exposed to a little heat stress while in veg that I fixed promptly. Besides that all seems well. But I am not a professional and any advice would be appreciated!

What have you been adjusting your ph to , have you been adjusting your ph after you add your nutes to your water... And what kind of water are you useing.... tap? If so have you been letting your water sit for 24 hours or more? Your plants look a Lil yellow to me is why I ask

She just woke up 20 minutes ago and looks amazing.... I'll delete the last and upload here so you can see the comparison and progression from before with only topping once in veg to when I super cropped day 8 in flower under my 400w Hortilux Super HPS at 12/12...

They suffered a bit from heat stress in late veg cycle. Not sure if the yellowing is from that or from nutes. pH stays at 6.5, filtered tap, with nutes.

It could also be from the lights that it's making the picture more of a yellowish tint. I'll try and snap some better ones

I disagree with this. The leaves look very healthy and appears that way because of the light the picture was taken in

I'll have some pictures later on. The leaves are quite green though.
