First Time grower, need feedback / advice

Hey guys, new grower here. Just looking for feedback in terms of how my plants look and what not from you experienced people out there. I feel like my buds should be bigger, I’m about to hit week 5 of flower and I feel like my buds should be bulking a lot more, especially on the lava cake strain. I have sundae driver and lava cake. Here are some pics, the lava cake is the lighter green leaves with smaller bud structure/formation and the sundae driver is the big dark on with bigger bud formation. Kinda just looking to get an idea of if something’s lacking or if they still have a lot of bulking to do. Creepin up to harvest and I’m kinda concerned with the bud development. I’ve been feeding compost tea and pride lands bloom too dressing teas about every 3-4 days and top dressing once a week. Top dressing is 2-5.5-5.5. Any tips or feedback on bud development and what I can do to get those buds into full colas. I may be over thinking it cause they do look healthy overall aside from the pesky worms that I’m battling. Not a heavy infestation tho. But anyways how do they look to you experienced growers? Anything potentially lacking in the nute department? Or am I overthinking it.

Nice work especially for your first time. They look to be right on schedule. I would say most are about half way through flower or so. You will see them start bulking up in a few weeks. I know it gets stressful sometimes but just keep doing what your doing and you should get a nice harvest.

Looks good to me. I’m growing a Lemon Lava clone this year and the buds aren’t super fat compared to my others but I attribute that to the Sativa dominance.

Super stressful. It was easy going through veg. Def can see where a lot of things could go wrong in this stage. Thanks tho man I appreciate the feedback! Was hoping I wasn’t having any deficiencies or root problems causing the buds to not grow properly. Maybe she’s just taking her time.

You're right on schedule bud... I know it seems like they're going slow, but all those calyces will just pop one day... You'll go out there and you'll see what looks like the light fuzzy budlets, turn into actual buds.. Then from there, they will bulk up until the end.
They look great, especially considering your first time. The patience is tough, but if theres anything I can recommend its waiting longer to harvest... 9 times out of 10 newbies will harvest early... These plants have been cared for all the way up until this point, and you dont want to throw all that effort away at the end... The buds will look "done" but you should wait, if you harvest them then, they will still be fluffy/airy. post more often in the weeks ahead and guys will give you a better idea with harvest... Take it with a grain of salt though sometimes pictures can be deceiving.

Keep up the great work. :joint: :peace:

I appreciate it. I have all the tools to watch trichomes and what not. Def won’t be making the mistake of harvesting too early after all this time stress and effort. Thanks for your feedback man!

gotcha. Just weird cause my lava cake started flowering almost a week before my sundae driver and the sundae driver shot right past her as far as bud development. She looks great just buds don’t appear to be growing significantly yet.
