First time grower need help germinating seeds

so ive been trying to germinate my seeds its been alomost 36 hours and 4 of the seeds still havn't popped. im using the wet paper towel method then i put the paper towel in a plastic bag and placed it on top of a heating mat i got for this purpose. can anyone offer any suggetions. 2 of the 6 seeds germinated in under 12 hours but its these other 4 that are making me a little worried.

easy.
get some k.rool and damp it.
put your seedd onto the k.rool
fold it over
then place s.were warm like ontop of cable tv box.
or airing cubard.
i use the cable box its 70 deg just rite temp.
i also put a container over the k. rool so it stays sweaty.
look these too 36 hours.
works every time. if you need any help pm me.
dont keep too wet, if they start to dry, just spray the k.rool a bit.

when you pot into soil, plant the white shoot "tap root"down wards.
and put under a lite, and they should pop after 12 to 24 hours.
what light doyou use?.

CFL, and the method you suggested is exactly what im doing but im using a propogation mat and not a cable box

Where are the seeds from? If it was bag seed are you sure the seeds were all mature, lighter coloured seeds may not be mature enough to germinate.

Personally I don't like using the wet towel method. I rather plant the seed straight into the medium to begin with, I dont think that muckin' around with a little baby can be that good for it.
