Hey there I'm G37Kush. I recently picked up 2 Sour OG clones and 1 Larry OG clone from a nearby clinic and I've placed them in a 10x15 box with the inside wrapped with alum foil. And 2x 60W 5000K bulbs sitting 5in above them. I've kept them close to my window so it won't get to hot but at the same time there is no natural light going into the box. The only ventilation I have are 3x3 squares I cut out in each wall of the box so it can breathe. The plants are about 5 1/2 in tall and I've had them under 24hr light since I got them 5 days ago. I watered it once 3 days ago with bottled water and watered it again yesterday with a couple drops of foxfarm grow big and bottled water. I'm planning on moving them outdoors. I have a ph meter,2 large bags of foxfarm soil, 3 large pots, foxfarm big bloom, and foxfarm tiger bloom. When should I transplant them outside and when should I start using nutrients? This is my first grow. I live in Socal so there's plenty of sun. Should I also get distilled water instead of using bottled?

I would put them out now your running out of time for the to still get big outside if you do leave them inside I keep my cfls about 3" away the will not stretch as bad as for the soil I would wait about two weeks then go 1/4 or 1/2 dose ferts see how the take it

So I should cut the box down so that the light sits 3" above the plants? And no nutes for 2 weeks? should I start mixing my foxfarm soil in my pots and place them outside to get them ready for transplant in a couple weeks or is that not needed right now?

Im concerned whether to leave them inside those foam blocks they came in or just transplant them into the pots and outside already? Are they ready to go outside or should i keep them under 24 hr light for awhile?

Still debating on whether or not to bring my clones outside after the roots grow out of the rockwool cube. Does anyone know how they will react to 12/12 outside compared to 24hr light right now?

Here's an update on how the girls are doing. One of my sour OG clones has a brown spot on one of the top leaves. But I think its just from touching the cfl. Lemme know how the ladies are looking. Any feedback is welcome. I just watered the Larry og and sour og today. My cousin is being stubborn and planted one of the sour og clones in a 5 gal pot of ffof outside. All the clones have been in 24 hr light. He put the clone out at 11am when it was the sun was breaking through the clouds. I told him it was a bad idea. I'm keeping the other two clones under 24/24. And then after the roots grow out put them in 5 gal pots and keep them under 18/6 light. In late aug I'll be placing them outside to sync up with daylight schedule of 12/12 and have them flower outside. Is this the best way to go?

Updated pics! I got rid of my grow box and decided to just use my whole closet since the walls are already painted white and the box was increasing the temp in the closet too much. The plants breathe better and the noise of aluminum foil flapping is gone haha. Way better circulation. But the girls arent looking too great at the moment. Not sure if its nute burn or over-watering. I flushed both plants yesterday and i wont water for awhile.

Can yellowing of the leaves be caused from splashing water directly on the leaves and then being under lights for 18 hours?
